So...what a past couple of weeks! I have officially decided that frat boys suck. Sorry, but its true. We are in the middle of seranades (which isn't going very well) and I am somewhat disapointed in the KU Greek Men. They have been so unorganized and just plain rude.
In a more positive note, I have made it through all the last tests with only one remaining. Talk about a feeling of relief. I have felt so overwhelmed with tests & stuff that it has been hard to enjoy the last few weeks of the year. However, my b-day celebration at Brian's was a blast! Believe it or not, between some thetas and some baseball boys, we finished two kegs and gallons of jungle juice. The jungle juice was lethal. I don't even remember the last hour of the night. Emily wandered home by herself and got lost, and Molly made of with Brian's roommate right before she started getting sick. However i do remember the greatest portion of the evening, and it was so fun.
Brian is amazing as always. Everytime I turn around he is doing something wonderful. Even if it just being there for me, he always tries. It's scary that summer is coming because I am going to miss him so incredibly much. Yes, we will be in the same city, but we are going to have very conflicting schedules. So, we will have to cherish every moment we can get. It is such a strange thing to come home again. Don't get me wrong, I love to visit OP, but I have my own life here. The thought of not waking up next to him each morning, or falling asleep each night talking to him is very sad. No friends, I didn't move out of theta, but I prefer to sleep at Brian's. It's a good ending to a hetic day. Yet, as much as I am ready for us to start our life together, we still have two years left at KU. They will be fun, but things like having your entire routine ripped apart each winter and summer break is getting harder each time.
However, I am soooo excited to see all of my friends don't worry. Rachel, Emily, and Jenni, and I have lots to catch up on, Allie comes home for 2 1/2 weeks, and whit come back. Plus, my wonderful Andrew and I will officially be in the same city once again. So watch out world, we're back in action. Oh speaking of, on my birthday thank you to all of you crazy cats for calling me. It meant alot to me. AND.....thank you Andrew for AVENUE Q!!! I am writing my final anthro paper on it.
Enough rambling, have a great tuesday!
