| SO, its like been a year and a half since I've been to the dentist! Mainly because I don't have anymore insurance under my mom after I turned a certain age...couldn't afford to buy my own yet...so after I graduated, found a full time job that offers medical insurance. So recently, I've decided that I want to go to the dentist just for a regular clean up. First appointment failed. I showed up on time- except at the wrong location...come on now, hmo is cheaper than ppo!!! Second appointment - made it on time, at the right location...stupid receptionist was so busy, forgot bout me first 15 min. After I came to her, she gave me paperworks to fill, which took another 15 min. The dental assistant was running behind...made me wait another 10 min. Finally, she did my X-rays...freakin took like 20 zaps of radiation through me or something, I don't think she did a good job. Then, she said my dentist has an emergency to attend to...so I would have to reschedule another day for the clean up. Alright, I rescheduled my third appointment. Made it on time...again, when it was my turn, the assistant had to take just two more zaps of radiation through me...(x-rays). Finally was in the room, waiting for the dentist to come. He came, checked my teeth out, said some numbers, made me wait another 10 minutes. Suddenly, the receptionist came in, said that besides the deep cleaning, I would need to take my 4 wisdom teeth out (which haven't been bothering me except when they grew out), get a crown, two cavaties, and treatment for 4 of my teeth (periodinitis...or watever, receding gums)...insurance only covers basic cleaning. The total cost for my plan out of my pocket added up to $2,236 freakin dollars! LIke What??? Goodness gracious! I asked if I could just get the cleaning...Nope, its their policy to fullfill their plans...You know what my excuse was? "I noticed that there is a warning not to use these chemicals if a woman is pregnant...my period is late...I want to go and check it out before I proceed" hahahaha....I went home again w/out getting my teeth cleaned. It was true that my period was late. Funny that it started right when I got home! | | |
| Well, to update this from last entry, I quit the ABC job! I realized that I don't like driving too much and having all the mileage go up in my car and having to pay the rising gas prices! Got a temp job as a HR Admin assistant via temp agency working for a temp to hire. Unfortunately, contract was changed under some circumstances, so I became temporary until I find another job. I searched and searched and stressed and stressed, and God is good to bless me with a job as the new school secretary closer to my home. (^_^)! Anyhows, just started my new job yesterday! Overwhelming cuz everyone is eager to dump the remainder of the work load that I inherited. Trying to get the concepts and catch up! Boy oh boy! Just need time to soak it up like a super dry sponge! | | |
| So next Monday is my last day of School!!! YAY! and I have no finals!!!! YaY! Anyhows, I'm still stressed! lol! I dont know how I'll ever stop stresssing! ugh! But yeh, I just got a new job now! Its working as a Behavior Therapist for ABC (Austism Behavior Consultants). Its going to be my full time job. I am still working at the child abuse home as a part-time on-call floater child care counselor. However, I think I will change my hours to working every Saturday morning. Yup. I'm going to work two jobs, 6 days a week. Why? Cuz its about time I really save up for a new car! (I think I'm tired of driving a tuna can)! So I'm hoping things will work out w/ the new job! Its sort of like Social Work because I have to drive around from place to place as I work on a case by case. But they reimburse me for gas...$100 a month! how does that sound? (^_^). oh well, good enough for me for now.
This past semester has flew by quickly! Time flies when ur busy. I'm kind of sad because I don't get to hang out with my friends often. Actually, I think its my fault because I never make the time to meet up with them when I'm free. And when they schedule to meet with me, I'm sad to say, I flaked out. Maybe its because its been ages since I really hang out socially w/ friends. I dont know if i'm afraid. I just dont know at all. Working 6 days a week now, I feel like I isolate myself w/ time constraints some more...OH well...sigh! | | |
| I'm counting down the weeks until school ends...then i'll be done w/ homework!!! yay! i dont have to do my homework based on grades afterwards! I'll just work for the rest of my life...doing i dont know what yet...but ugh...i'm anxious, yet at the same time, excited to find a job...but i'm gonna be sad missing being student status, where i usually get discounts when i go to movies or do other stuff like that...oh well...part of growing up...i wish i was a kid forever!!! cuz by then, i'll realized that i'd become an old hag and life will almost be over if i keep wanting to grow up! so much responsibilities. | | |
| well, jon took me to my first baseball game on tuesday evening! that was very nice! very fun! and the angels won! yippie! and here are some pictures!
