So here's an update in my life - Summers going good. I haven't been doing a whole lot. I think I got a job at Dillards ... I have to go in tomorrow and see. I'm taking an easy computer class at OCCC on tuesdays and thursdays - haha. I went to the Oklahoma Film Festival like two weeks ago. it was really cool. I got a lot of job offers and made some good connections. OH also I got anew car! lol it's a '06 Toyota Camery. Not exactly the car I would have picked but hey it's super nice and it was free. Now I'm going to find a cheap sports car that I can fix up as a weekend car:) Also I'm planning on buying a house in april - fun fun. Well that's about all that'sgoing on in my life - later.

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of the night in June
I Didn't know much of love, but it came too soon
And There was me and you, and then it got real blue
Stay at home talkin' on the telephone and
We would get so excited, we'd get so scared
Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

Chorus:
As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
And as our lives change, from whatever
We will still be, friends forever

So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now, will that joke still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

*Repeat chorus*

La, la, la, la; yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la, we will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

Hey just thought I'd let everyone know what I've been up to...

haha I just got a job at sonic - never saw that one coming- but it's a fun job and it's pretty flexible. It's just weird going from "cool" jobs like hollister and lifeguarding to sonic. haha

Other than work and writing music I haven't been doing alot. I've been hanging out with my brother and going to starbucks some. That's been fun.

Soccer season starts saturday at 9:00 at summerfield (122nd and meridian) so come watch! haha

Well I gotta run but yeah that's my life in a nutshell... I think things are starting to pick up, hopefully.....

So I'm really excited! I'm going to be taking ballroom dancing this summer! Haha - it's going to be a blast. I think my friend April is going to be my partner which would be awesome cause she's really cool. Anyways -I'm also going to try and take some jazz and hip-hop. My goal is to audition for the choreography show... Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get cast. Oh and Melissa Dockum has a ballroom piece in choreography show! That'd be cool to get in cause I love her. Well I gotta run but I'll try to write more later~

Edit: If anyone reads my myspace I just put up a new blog... It's kinda weird though cause I wrote it at like 4:45 a.m. - Oh well =)

Ok so it's been awhile since I've updated but anyway... I just want to say something.

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE TRYING TO PROVE AND DISPROVE THE DAVINCI CODE!

I mean seriously. The Davinci Code is not historically accurate at all. This is why it is FICTION. Yeah I can see the Catholic church resenting and being upset about not being portrayed in a positive light... But why are so many Christians getting upset about this and making such a big deal about it?  All author Dan Brown did was take some ideas about Jesus and weave a story that makes it possible. To make this fantesy possible, Brown took legimate historical orders, organizations and events and changed the intent and legimate motives ever so slightly. Then he strung them together into a murder mystery conspiracy theory. Usually the best fiction is believeable.  The Davinci Code is believable - that is if you don't know history very well. But there is a reason Dan Brown wrote this novel as fiction. Dan Brown knew that this was nothing more twisted history. He knew that it could never stand up historically. Dan Brown knew that this was not legimate history. That's why it is labled FICTION.

I have yet to hear one person try and tell me that the Davinci code is true. However I know million people telling me it's not true. Do I look stupid? Is it hard for me to see that the author has said it's fiction? So If the author says it's not true and no one is arguing saying it is - then why the heck are you going to make sure and tell me again?

Please quit talking about this. If someone asks you be prepared to answer. Do your own research. Know why you believe what you believe. There is no evidence for Jesus being married. None. So why make such a big deal about something so easily disproven?

I personally believe that the more churches try and "disprove" the Davinci Code the more credible it seems. Of course this, in my opinion is not why the Christians are writing all the books about how it's not true. The Davinci Code is so easily "historically debunked" that it has enabled alot of Christian authors to "churn" out this type of book. However, with so many resources already availible why are more people writing on the same tired subject? To capitalize on their market from their fans, that's why. Most of the Christian authors are all making the same points - just to different Christian markets.  Now I don't balme these authors for capitalizing on an opportunity. I'm just sick of hearing about it.

I don't think churches should be making such a big deal about this book and I would love to for "average christian joe" to realize something. These authors are not writing so much about the Davinci Code because it is hard to disprove or their is alot to defened or disprove. Rather, they are trying to capitalize on the already generated press, name regonition and hype created by the New York Times best seller. So quit worrying about it. No one thinks this is true it's fiction.

Fiction is a well told and believable lie.
