So I am finally home from my mission trip/NYC trip. It is so great to be home! I don't know if I have ever been away from home for so long. If I have, it was a long time ago.
The mission trip was amazing. There actually was a shower! Which made life alot better. And it was over all just way cooler than I expected it to be. I learned alot from the teachings and just from helping people. My group worked at the Boys and Girls Club. The kids there were so cool! Alot of them have had hard lives and it was so great to hang out with them and get to know them. One of the girls there was really talented. She could sing, and she showed me some of her clothes designes that were totally amazing!! I really hope that her gifts take her some where. Over all, the trip was amazing, just hanging out with everyone, being crazy, playing pool. It was so awesome. An amazing experience.
NYC was cool. Kind of hot though. Walking around in the heat was killer and made it hard to enjoy sometimes. I probablly would have liked it better if it weren't so hot. If I go again, it will be in the spring or fall. It's a cool city, but I don't think I could live there. It's just too big.
So that is the quick overview of my past two weeks. Now I have to get back to real life.
