  • I'm BACK!

    So I haven't posted on here in almost a year, but I decided it sounded like fun.  Also since no one really uses xanga anymore, I am being an individual.  Also I am just extremely bored right now.  So far summer has been fun, I feel like I have already done a lot, and I hope to do a lot more.  It goes by so fast.  I really wish I had something to do right now.  You can only click random links on Facebook for so long before it gets superfluous.  Ooh, big word.  Ok, I admit I didn't think up superfluous on my own.  I was going to use the word redundant, but then I decided to use my computers dictionary/thesaurus thing and it gave me superfluous and that sounded better.
    Well, I should probably stop now since no one is going to read this anyway.

    Ok, one more thing.
    This guy is basically my hero now, so you should watch these videos (in order).

  • Home sweet home!!

    So I am finally home from my mission trip/NYC trip.  It is so great to be home!  I don't know if I have ever been away from home for so long.  If I have, it was a long time ago.

    The mission trip was amazing.  There actually was a shower!  Which made life alot better.  And it was over all just way cooler than I expected it to be.  I learned alot from the teachings and just from helping people.  My group worked at the Boys and Girls Club.  The kids there were so cool!  Alot of them have had hard lives and it was so great to hang out with them and get to know them.  One of the girls there was really talented.  She could sing, and she showed me some of her clothes designes that were totally amazing!!  I really hope that her gifts take her some where.  Over all, the trip was amazing, just hanging out with everyone, being crazy, playing pool.  It was so awesome.  An amazing experience.

    NYC was cool.  Kind of hot though.  Walking around in the heat was killer and made it hard to enjoy sometimes.  I probablly would have liked it better if it weren't so hot.  If I go again, it will be in the spring or fall.  It's a cool city, but I don't think I could live there.  It's just too big.

    So that is the quick overview of my past two weeks.  Now I have to get back to real life.

  • So my life has been pretty uneventful lately.  I need to start getting ready for the mission trip, but my room is still a mess!  I just don't know where to start it is so chaotic in there.  I am excited/scared for the mission trip.  It will be fun, but we only get a couple showers the whole week!! Which is crazy and might drive me insane!  But other than that it should be good.  Then as soon as we get back we are going to New York.  So I won't get my license until after that!  I wish I could get it on my birthday, but I have gotten used to the fact that I can't.  I also will probablly have to reschedule my road test from next week since I still need more night driving and we don't really go anywhere at night.  Last night I drove home from Detroit (there was a traffic jam for part of it which made it take longer ).  But I still need more hours!! Oh well, whatever, as long as I get my license I will be happy.  I don't really need it until after we get back anyway.
    Well, there's my ranting and raving for the day (or maybe the week)!
    TTYL!
    (I never know how to end a post, I am terrible at writing conclusions for anything; essays, letter, I don't know what my problem is!)

  •     So life is pretty boring right now.  I had Segment 2 this week.  Best way ever to waste 6 hours of your life.  The only thing I learned is that it isn't illegal to drive bare foot.  Which is good because I do.  Sometimes.  It's fun.  I've also gotten myself addicted to this game called Quinn.  It is Tetris, but aparently the people who made Tetris never patented it.  Smart.  Sucks to be them.
        I really need to clean my room, and I know I will feel better once I do, but I just can't get started.
        Well, that's about all.
        Bye.

  • New Layout!!

    So I was bored and decided to get a new layout.  It only took forver to get the box on the top to work.  But it's ok because I didn't have anything better to do.
    Tommorow is the first day of Kids Kamp.  I am a leader for the first time ever this year so that should be interesting.  I hope I don't mess anything up!!
    I think it will be ok.  And then I am helping with Kids Kamp in the evening.  I didn't go to the first one today because I am a lazy bum and it was raining.  But I will go from now on.
    Well, I should go to bed so I don't fall asleep tommorow morning!!!

  • SUMMER!!

    YAY!  Yesterday was a long day.  After school I went out to lunch with my friends then we went to a movie and walked around Eastwood a bit.  Then I went home and went to the mall with my mom then I had to go to dance.
    I slept well last night!!!
    I am so glad school is over.  I am definately ready for some downtime.  Even though my summer is pretty busy, it won't be nearly as crazy as the school year.
    Well, I am going to go enjoy my freedom.
    Peace!

  • It's almost over!!!

    I cannot believe school is almost over!  My sophmore year is done.  There are so many things I regret not doing.  Things I should have said.  People I should have reached out to and been friendly towards.  People I should have stood up for.
    But also so many great things happen.
    I have gotten closer to people.  I have started to get to know people who I don't usually talk to.  I joined Student Council, and am starting to get more involved.
    So much is going to change this summer and now I feel like I have some things and some people to fall back on.  I have started to  fill in and replace the places that other things and people left empty.  I have let go of things that needed to be let go of and I have moved on.
    I have learned so much about myself this year.  And it makes me excited.  I finally feel like I might actually know what I want out of my life...I thought I did before.  But know I  have discovered new things that turned me all around and set me on a new path.  A different path.  But one I am happy with.

    The weekend

    Lots of my friends/aquaintances/other people in my grade got into Chorale so congrats to them!
    ~~~
    Last night I cut my bangs and stuff.  It was extremely exciting.  I love cutting my hair.
    ~~~
    Yesterday was my recital it went really well I didn't make any huge mistakes or anything so that is good!
    ~~~
    Today is the cast party for Swan Lake and the EL Art Festival so that is cool.
    ~~~
    Reading To Kill A Mockingbird and it's one of the best books I have ever read.  I love it.
    ~~~
    So I guess that sums up my weekend.
  • D is for...deadly?
    So today in psychology I discovered I was a type D personality.
    In my article for psych I learned that Type D is most likely to die from heart related stuff, and four times more likely to die of coronary heart failure, so that is cool.
    It's also interesting because I have always thought of myself as a type A...but I didn't used to know about type D. hmm...
  • Election
    So I won.  I am the vice president of our class for next year.
    It's cool, but it isn't really that big a deal I guess.  I would have been involved in Student Concil even if I hadn't won.
    But it feels cool to have a responsibilty like that.
