So, a guy gets a bottle with a genie in it, and the genie grants him three wishes.  However, the genie warns him that his mother in law will get double of whatever he requests.  So for the first wish, the guy asks for a million bucks.  Genie: "Granted, but remember, your mother in law gets 2 million."  Next wish: "I'd like a huge mansion."  Genie: "Granted, but remember, your mother in law gets a mansion twice as big."  Third wish: "I'd like you to beat me half to death."

Hey Stacey & Brent,

Nic and I met at the ministry I volunteer at and that he works for - an inner city teen ministry in Springfield, Ohio.  He doesn't go to Cedarville - he is just working at this ministry and taking some graduate classes right now - he's 25.  He is a good guy :) 

I do get to see Nathan around a little bit - I don't often cross his path, but we eat together somtimes and he was actually helping out at this same ministry too.  Lynn Perry and Chrissie were just up here visiting so we hung out a bit with them - it was really nice!

Hope you all are doing well!  When are you planning on being home next?  I am looking forward to meeting Justus!

Gavin is 4 months on Wednesday! He also has to go for his 4 mo. Dr. appt. that day :( and get some shots! He is eating rice cereal now, it's so cute to see him slurp it... however it makes for some stinky diapers! ha ha

I'm glad you will all be there, it will be fun and it's nice to know for sure of someone else who will be busy with a little one :)

I sent you an email (via Brent's email address) but after talking to Nathan, I fear it may not get to you ... uh, no affense Brent :) He said he didn't think Brent checked his email much... anyway, I realized that maybe I could let you know about the mail through your xanga site because I know you check it, ha! -Beth (hey, I'm thinking we will probably room near each other this year, as I think all the families with little ones tend to end up in the same area... away from everyone else, ha ha).

Dude your kid is the bomb!  How adorable!  We love the lion suit and the chewing on the dog toy!  Makes me want to get a dog, just so that my kid can suck on the toys!

I appreciate the kind words about the book. I am praying God will really use it. BTW...next time don't send Doug back so hyper.
