The film sees the fall of two former male, champion figure skaters, as their competitive sides take over them. Eager to skate their way back into the sport, they are forced to work together as the first ever male doubles team. With the hatred between them, will they be able to work out their differences and beat the brother and sister duo to the gold? You’ll have to watch it to find out...

Review:

“Blades of Glory” contains everything a successful comedy should; a predictable plot line, disturbingly funny costumes, forbidden love and chase scenes (on ice I should add).
Even though you can roughly guess what will happen in the film, it does not alter the pleasure of watching Will Ferrell (Elf, Bewitched) and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Benchwarmers) make fools out of themselves as they show how friendships can be made even between “ice and fire”.
After a while, the slapstick comedy and grotesque moments become too much to take, however the hilarious innuendo and suggested homosexuality makes up for it all, creating a film worth watching.

The Pros: (yep don't forget to write the pro's and the con's. Every review without the pro's or con's will automatically be discarded)

These days there aren’t that many films you can watch, guaranteed it will cheer you up if you are feeling a bit down in the dumps; however this film definitely will. Blades of Glory is a harmless comedy with loveable characters; who’d have thought that we’d ever see a recovering sex addict befriend a peacock with a gay stalker? It is definitely a bizarre film with many lines, costumes and dance routines that will leave you giggling way after the film has finished.

The Cons:

Even though I’ve yet to find someone who doesn’t like Blades of Glory, I’m pretty sure it’s a film like marmite; you either love it or you hate it.
