Relient K... makes me so happy, and so sad at the same time. Because, it always seems like they sing what I'm feeling under the surface. I just got the new CD yesterday, The words have always been the most important part of the song for me. I know some of my friends really like the rhythm, the beat, the guitar part. And that's fine. I like that too. But, I like the words.

Honestly, the right key in a hymn or song, can make me cry.

Ah, that something can be so soothing to me and so jarring to me at the same time.

[edit] It seems like all of these are love songs. . . *sigh*

    Wow...

I can't even believe that this is the last week of real school!  Last week was very odd with a power outage on Tuesday and a Snow Day on Friday.  But still the weekend wasn't long enough for me.  I actually spent a lot of the weekend sleeping.  I probably should have been studying more, but that's all in the past now, so oh well.  I slept for three hours on Friday.  I would have just gone back to bed, but I still worked.. oh well...  On Saturday I got my head slammed into a van door (shut into it).  I'm fine but my ear and head had bumps on them.  I didn't even know that ears could swell up... my ear is still recovering; it still doesn't look normal.  We also went to see "A Christmas Carol" at the Pabst Theater.  The Theater is beautiful and it was a really fun play to watch.  One of the Bar Keeps was really helpful to me,  He gave me ice for my swollen ear.  I still am having a little trouble sleeping on my ear, but as long as I don't put too much pressure on it it's ok.  We also went to Shakey's on Saturday.  Needless to say, I didn't get any homeowork done.  Saturday night I could not fall asleep, and I didn't go to bed until 4:45.  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights last week I was up till after 4:00.  Three days in a row.

Sunday I had to get up at 8:30 for Bible Study/Church.  After Church I ended up sleeping from 1:30-3:00.  Then I ate lunch at 4:00 and tried to get started on my homework.  Unfortunatly I kept falling asleep.  Literally nodding off while trying to do my Spanish homework.  I also fell asleep trying to memorize the Apostle's Creed in Mandarin.  I stayed up till 3:00 last night.  It felt so good to get to bed early...

    Today

Today has been a good day.  For a Wednesday and for a school day in general.  But I'm sick of doing homework.  I want to take a break.  But.. there's not really anything to do.  I want to do something active... murr... DDR?

That would be fun.. and I've been wanting to do that for weeks.  *sigh*  I'm so sick of homework!

Jamie and Gloria came for afternoon tea today. ^_^  It was so nice to see you guys again!
