This is Jennifer Cello singing it at one of their concerts last month. Not only is she beautiful but her voice is amazing. I can't wait till Brandon and I can go to another of the Trans Siberian Orchestra's concerts. The whole concert in general was just amazing with the music, lighting w/ lasers, and the pyro I must say was AWESOME!!! They wouldn't let us take our cameras in so that was a huge disappointment but with the program, cds, and dvd that we got afterwards we can remember it always =)

Visit Brandon's xanga he also posted a video which is AWESOME!!! http://xanga.com/kopfjaeger

Thursday, November 22, 2007

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Please be in prayer for our truck

Well after a long, crazy, busy day at work I got outside and it's POURING rain like crazy and lightning really close. So I then got a towel from work and used that as cover to help keep me a little drier. Well I make it to the car not to drenched start up the truck no problems.I call Brandon and we decided on Chipotle where we love for dinner so I drove over and got the food and it's still pouring rain. As I'm coming out it's still gushing on the way of course I'm praying for God to help me get home safely. Well then my phone rings and it's my friend from work with a question while I was talking I heard this strange crunching noise so I was like hey I gotta go. I then quickly called Brandon cause I feel so much safer to atleast hear his voice when I'm scared about something. I was like I'm not sure what's going on but the truck just out of nowhere started this crunching noise and it sounds like it's coming from underneath my seat. At this time I've got a lot of traffic around me and it's still raining but not nearly as bad. Then the noise happened again I told Brandon I was scared and wanted to keep him in the line incase something bad happened. Well I came up to a traffic light and stopped no noise then so I told brandon just stay incase something happens again please well no sooner had I turned right and into the left lane the truck crunched again. I was like did you hear that it's getting worse he said yah well pull over. And this is the weirdest part at the light there had been a lot of traffic and raining at this time the traffic on both sides of me 2 lanes worth was gone and it had stopped raining completely. The truck kept going slower and slower and everything I would try and go a little faster 5 miles an hour total it would crunch really loud then I would push the brake and it wouldn't stop right at first and here I am scared and it's dark outside with not a lot of lighting on the roads. With Brandon still on the phone I saw a baptist church parking lot up ahead and I was praying God please just let the truck make it to there. So I hung up and Brandon was on his way. I pretty much just coasted for about 1/4 mile to the parking lot then I had to rev it a bit since the driveway was up a little hill. It didn't crunch up the hill and I made it safely to the parking lot where there was no raining or lighting going on anywhere near me. The traffic started up a bit but not much and I just sat there and then started to pray for what I was thankful for of all things. I prayed and thanked God for the rain stopping, that the traffic wasn't busy near me when the truck started to mess up, that the truck was able to make almost all the way home without any problems and that it didn't happen while I had gone through some other major intersections. Also that I was able to get the truck to the parking alot and that my husband was home and didn't have to work late and could come get me. Also that Steve was home to answer my scared call asking for prayer while I was waiting for Brandon, it was comforting while I was out there alone. Well then Brandon made it there and I was soo chilly the cool front was coming in and I was afraid to touch any buttons in the truck or turn it off incase it wouldn't start up again. So I couldn't mess with the heater. Brandon then brought me his jacket to stay warm while he played with the truck. He then drove it around and the crunching sound got ALOT worse like it was metal ridges skipping and mashing into each other off and on. Well Brandon decided to drive the truck to his aunt and uncles house which wasn't to much farther up the road so we didnt have to just leave it there in the dark parking lot. He had me drive the work van he had drove in I was so relived I didn't have to mess with driving that truck anymore tonight I was worried enough. We made it safely to our relatives place and on the way it could still hear it grinding really loud off and on. He wasn't even driving it more than maybe 3-5 miles an hour if that. So now we're home safe but now we have to decide on what we're gonna do with our main transportation. Brandon thinks for sure it's the transmission I would agree and it's not going to be a cheap repair from the sounds of what we heard. So PLEASE be in prayer with him and I on what God wants us to do and how we're going to do it cause atleast we have his work van but then I have work again starting Friday.
Thanks in advance for all the prayers I love you all and thanks for letting me vent on my day I do feel better. =)

It's gonna get COOLER =)

I can't believe it's going to be in the 50s for the high tomorrow as well as the rest of the week. =) It's gonna be AWESOME!! Thanks to ALL those who made yesterday so special for
Brandon and I, it means a lot. Thanks to Beth for running to all those
places to get the flowers for Brandon and I. Thanks for Cindy and Beth
for that beautiful, touching song you both sang just for us yesterday.
I know we all fought back tears listening at one point or another. Also for that special
message Cindy to us about how you pray for our marriage everyday for God to bless us and bring us closer together.
Thanks Steve for running the sound and just being there and for the
hug. Thanks everyone for all the prayers for our marriage and
encouraging words, it means more than you'll know. Thanks Dad and Mom
for the late night phone call asking how our day has gone and wishing
us both a Happy Anniversary, I miss you both so much and love you. Ok
now that we all have tears in our eyes and smiles on our faces or at least I do =) Just thanks
to everyone for making Our day special. And thank you Brandon for
making my weekend special as well. It meant so much to me just hanging
out together w/ you, sharing stories, watching tv, laughing, cuddling
and then the wonderful, beautiful restaurant last night was simply
amazing. The atmosphere was so nice and romantic, Christmas lights and
decorations everywhere. The food was AWESOME, I've never tasted a
T-Bone steak or a New York Strip steak so juicy and wonderful in my
life along with the other foods we shared the salad, rolls, Brie appetiezer, steak fries, and Dr Pepper =) Just being there with you
Brandon made it so wonderful and special, as well as all the times we spend together.

So again I/We say

The whiteness that you will notice on a lot of my teeth those are fillings I've had some in the past heh. Also I forgot to mention earlier when the Specialist looked inside my mouth at the wisdom tooth he noticed it had a huge cavity in it. They told me years ago at another dentist I went to that I had groovy teeth and so it was more likely I would end up with cavities easier than everyone else. I felt so special, lol NOT!

Dental update

Well went to the Dental Specialists yesterday evening and they agreed that the crooked wisdom tooth needed to be pulled. As for the spot near my jawline he said it could be some form of calcium deposits. He said the he wanted me to go get a 3D xray done at this other place so that before the surgery he could get a better look at both the tooth and spot. Then went to pay for the days exam and got my surgery packet for when I come in for the surgery. It's a very well organized packet too it's has a checklist of what I should do the morning of, some papers to fill out, some medicines to take an hour before my surgery. I have to have a ride to and from the place the day of the surgery and then someone near me for a while after the surgery at home. He said usually the 1st and 2nd day there will be swelling and pain and by the 3rd the most pain will set in as well as the swelling. I'm thinking this is NOT sounding fun at all. He did say for the surgery I will be completely out which made me feel better but the whole thing about the days afterwards didn't encourage me at all. He said for the 3-5 days afterwards I probably won't eat that much and I was like cool a work in weightless plan as well =) He grinned.
So after I got the packet and paid my bill I called Beth who was being picked up by Cindy and told her a brief update as to what was going on and that I still had to get another xray done at another place before I could do my surgery.
I called work on the drive home and my boss Dr. was concerned about me as well as some of the other staff I gave them the update and said I'm sorry but I have to get this taken care of and I'm trying not to get people at work in a bind. SO far the people I knew I could count on are sticking by my side.
SO today I gotta call and make my 3D xray appointment for Friday and maybe have the surgery done next week since I have next weekend off it would work out really well.
Well that's the update for the moment I'll keep you posted and still trying to get the picture to work of my mouth xray I think it looks pretty cool.

Going to the Dentist

Well this morning woke up at around 6:30am to get ready for my dental appointment and then possibly going to work afterwards. My chauffeur (Cindy) arrived around 7:45am to take me since Brandon was taking the truck to work and we both had to be at our destinations at 8am or close to it.
Cindy and I got to the place right on time and I filled out my paperwork.Right in the middle of filling out my paperwork, I heard them call my name, I didn't really think anything of it since I could very well see that I still had my paperwork not completely filled out in my hands. But sure enough they wanted me then and said I could bring my papers to fill out in the room.
So we got to the room and the Dr and Nurse came in and talked to me a bit about what was going on and then said well lets go get some xrays then you can finish your papers. The nurse was really nice so we talked a bit while the x- ray machine was getting ready. She saw that I was wearing scrubs and asked where I worked and so I told her and she said Oh yeah I just brought my dog to the Vet cause he has a staph infection. I told her to make sure to keep up with it since it didn't sound as severe as some of the other cases I had seen. We had one very sweet Pitbull, an employees pet, come in last week and since her husband has Cancer and has been doing Chemo he can't be around any virus or it could kill him. And he has been getting very sick off and on during this whole time and so when she found out about her dog who stayed with a relative she had to make a choice. The pitbull had staph REALLY bad and so she had a REALLY hard time even knowing it was the right thing to do and she loved that dog a lot but her husband's life was on the line.
Ok back to my morning story I just told the Nurse to stay on it with keeping it clean and keeping it on the antibiotics like she was told and her dog should be just fine.
Well they developed the xrays and I headed back to the room to finish my papers. We waited a bit and then they came in with the pictures. Well the wisdom tooth that has been giving me problems and messing up my sinus is definitely crooked like we had thought. But then there was more I heard the Dr go something like what's that and that's NOT want you want to hear from a Dr. Well there was this maybe about a nickel size something on the opposite side on the bottom under my roots and he wasn't sure what it was. SO he's like I'm gonna refer you to a specialist and they can then take out your tooth as well as tell you what this "thing" is. I wasn't the least bit thrilled with that answer.
So I paid my bill and took my xrays with me so that I could bring them to the specialist whenever I could get in. They said they keep pretty busy over there. Well I called the place and they said they had just had someone cancel for tomorrow. Only thing was it was during our busy times at work and then the next they had available was June 7th. Well now that I know I have a "thing" where it shouldn't be in my mouth I really don't want to wait longer than I have to find out what it is. While I was talking to the specialist she said oh wait we just had a cancelation for today at 3:20 I was like I'll take it. I didn't want to miss a whole day at work and I'm gonna try and take it as a vacation day but it just seemed like everything was working out so smoothly for me to get ASAP. And I didn't want to say no I'll wait and have it be something really serious. So I called My Dr well my Boss Dr, lol this could get confusing. I told her the situation and said I have been good in letting everyone know ahead of time what has been going on even last week and that I wasn't going to wait to have this checked out and didn't want to miss my window of an appointment. She was really cool with me taking the day off and agreed with me getting it checked out ASAP. So now I sit here and wait till my next appt hoping they'll know what it is and we can get it taken care of in a timely manner.
I was trying to post a picture I took of my xrays but the usb port isn't working so I'll have to wait for Brandon to get home this evening and have him help me.
SO that's at least the update for now more to come after the next dentist visit.

PS I'm getting nervous now.....please pray =)
