whats new So I'm feeling tempted to enter into the My Space world. But I'm going to try and not succumb to the pressure. I've been strong thus far!
Anyhoo.. I graduated last weekend!! It was a great time of celebrating with friends and family. But I must say that the thought of grad school in a few more weeks is decreasing my enthusiasm. I know the year will go by quick though and then I'll have a masters, which may or may not mean anything careerwise. But I still feel this is where God is moving me right now.
Guess who's birthday was yesterday..... my babydo's!!! The big 25! ...hehe... I went down to VA this past week and we did some birthday celebrating down there yesterday for Scott's birthday. It was a fun time of cake, cards, frisbee, softball, soccer, water, chips, the dew, capote (ehh.not so fun), darts, and the office. Most of all, it was great to be with my baby on his birthday!
Oh ....and guess what I got as a graduation gift from him! ..... you have to guess first. okay ..ill tell you.... a Day Spa gift certificate for a back massage, pedicure, facial, and lunch!! He got it for his mom too for mothers day..so we both went on Thursday..and it was fabulous!! I've never had a pedicure or a facial before either. I felt like such a princess.....thank you again sweetie!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow I head back to work for the week. Right now, I'm waiting for my dad to get back so we can have dinner for Mother's Day. By the way, my mom is doing well. She finished her second to last round of chemo this morning and only has one more round left in June. We look forward to the summer when there won't be anymore treatments she'll have to do and she'll get all her energy back. Keep praying!
AND in even more exciting news... please pray for Scott about moving back to PA. I know I would be thrilled about having him close by.. but we just want it to be God's will. I pray God would continue to give us clarity and peace about it.... and for the potential employment at a particular company in PA.
I suppose that be all for now..... until another month goes by |
