| hey everyone.. wow havent blogged in a while.. ever since summer..
well everything is very hectic and busy but issy's party yesterday really lightened up the load of work i have to do.. well for the time being that is.. so how is everyone? i was really happy to see some people from 216 again.. ok i should go and work on my english essay.. argh mr. wamsteker! that dude sure knows how to ruin one's weekend! oooo and my college essay! aiyah.. im taking sociology.. bummer ok byebye =P |

| This summer has been filled with first times and experiences.. well on august 17th i had my first car accident...
that day my grandparents came over to take me to work (i volunteer at the visiting nurse service) and my brother to the park.. we just turned right from our block and my grandfather was driving straight.. as we were approaching 33rd Avenue Jordan Street, only a few blocks down from our house on 32nd Avenue, there was an intersection.. we had our right of way because the other car had a stop sign.. i actually saw their car stop at the stop sign but as we approached that intersection they shot out and we hit them head on into the right backseat passenger side of their car.. there were only a driver and front seat passenger, both were women, and they were ok... however my grandmother was severely injured.. she was bleeding alot from her head, her clothes, neck, face, and head were soaked in blood.. she was conscious but in severe pain.. she had burns and bruises from the impact of the airbag and pain in her chest.. she was sent to the trauma center at the hospital and got 4 staples in her head. thank God nothing was broken. she just pulled some muscles, nothing permanent. our neighbors were very nice.. they helped calm my grandmother down and helped her wipe all her blood. my grandfather had burns and bruises on his arm from the airbag but other than that he is fine, up and walking.. as for me i hit the back of the seat in front of me.. my right cheek is pretty bruised up and i cut my lip (got 2 stitches).. my brother was the only one who had no bruises or burns.. he was completely fine.. we all had our seatbelts on but for some reason they didnt hold us back.. i dont know... the policemen came and took down reports and the ambulance came and took us to the hospital.. we arrived at around 1 that afternoon and stayed there until 11:30 that night.. i got home at 12:30 and was very tired.. i had a headache so i took some tylenol to ease the pain.. yesterday we hired a lawyer and yes we are going to sue them.. i hope my grandmother can receive some justice here.. but anyways we went to our private doctors yesterday to get another check-up and now we all have to go for physical therapy.. sigh this is going to take awhile..
huh.. i was going to go for my permit this friday too.. man after what happened i am kinda scared of driving.. o well you never know what is going to happen tomorrow right? you just hope for the best.. i have to learn how to drive some time so i am still gona go for it.. wish me luck! byebye =P |

| hey everyone.. how is everyone's summer so far?
i cant believe it is already august.. that one month in japan really blew right by.. it is august which only tells me that school is getting closer and closer.. i hate it.. but once i came home.. things have settled down quite a bit.. what i mean is things have gotten really really BORING!! =P
i just went back to the Visiting Nurse Service yesterday and worked for like two and a half hours.. that bored the shit out of me.. sometimes things never change..i was practically falling asleep..
the jetlag thing is pretty much over with.. now i can pretty much survive a day without taking a nap and my sleeping patterns are more normal now.. my summer sleeping patterns.. =P
however yesterday after work i met up with karin and saw Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle!! it was soooo funny.. you constantly laugh.. it was rated R tho but it wasnt that bad.. the lady didnt ask for our ID's at the booth so eh.. who cares?! that movie was awesome and then we saw the ending of I,Robot.. that movie is sooo predictable.. i got the whole idea of the movie and predicted what happened just by watching the end of it.. it was a good action movie tho.. tickets were only $4.50!! can you believe it? the cheapest movie tickets you can find, but the theatre was rundown and old

im finally back home after my one month stay in japan! it was sooo fun and i miss my group!! it feels weird not waking up in japan anymore.. now i actually feel like im out of place here in new york.. anyways i missed you all!! call me up.. |

| guess where i am!!! im in Japan!! its been a little over two weeks!! i have been to tokyo, tokushima, and now i am in matsuyama!! i went crazy shopping! and the weird thing was that i bumped into winnie, a junior who also signed up for this program.. she got in too!! but she is in another group so doesnt matter.. i bought a really nice yugatta for myself and i had language classes for a week in tokushima.. learning a lot.. now i can say i can speak japanese!! hehez..
im in a japanese high school on an island in matsuyama.. the students are very curious about americans.. they are soooo nice.. i learned how to dance to japanese music.. so fun! im at my homestay here.. my family is very nice and my host brother is very good looking! lol..
not to brag or anything but my host family has 13 cars, including a porsch and benz, so many that they have to keep some at their factories.. my father is the president of 3 companies and his son is the president of 2 companies. they have a second house up in a mountain and yet still building another somewhere else! im eating good japanese food and sleeping well.. last night we rented 4 videos! i miss my movies!! hehez.. anyway i really like my group here.. two guys are from new york.. one of them goes to stuyvesant!! he is really nice..
how is everyone? doing good.. miss you all.. i will call u up when i get back! then we can hang out.. i think i miss the weather in new york.. i think i will find it cold when i get back.. it is sooooo hot here.. anyways miss you all and keep in touch!! |
