| LF friendsUntil what point do people remain your 'good' friend? I think I lost 2 'good' friends recently. One I've talked with for hours almost everyday for a few months. And for the past week or so, we can't get past the greeting. Perhaps it due to the difference in views. He's "fallen in love" with a 30 something married woman that he's known for 3 months. I think it's idiotic and I told him so. Maybe that's why we don't talk.. cause I was honest to him about what I think about his online 'love'.
The other? well, I'm not mad. But I no longer hold any expectations of him as a friend. As a friend... or anyone, I expect you to do what you say, especially to call if you say you would. It's like, saying "I'll meet you here at this time" and not showing up. He'll be just a friend and nothing more than that. If he remembers that he was gonna call, then Great!. I don't expect him to do though. I don't expect him to initiate a conversation or anything at all.
That is all.... I think

| Summer's been different this year. Unlike the last two, I'm not spending the whole two months in Cali. It's just pretty much summer school in the morning, and moping around the house the rest of the day if I don't have work. I can't say I like living in Cali better, but at least I had a room there...with a door. I am currently living in my dining room; an extra mattress on the ground for sleeping and my beloved computer. A bunch of my cousins are here from Taiwan, so they've taken the bedrooms, so the living conditions are funky.
My wonderful little Summer is bouncing around the house as usual. He's finally potty trained, so we let him run around wherever. He just turned 3. I baked him a cake =). He liked it. He's actually at the vet right now getting his baby teeth removed. The vet said it was rotting on a previous occasion. Poor puppy. He thought he was going out for a day of fun this morning.
Work here has been quite different from Waco. We're not nearly as busy as Waco is, probably cause we're not a 24 hour pharmacy. There are actually a few people that I recognize coming in and out. Some.. not many. And my Chinese actually comes in handy now and then. =D 我覺得我好有用喔! XD
It's overall a pretty uneventful summer. Kinda boring =\ but maybe that'll change... *plots*

| LA Zoo and Santa Monica BeachBoyfriend took me to the LA zoo today. It was great since I haven't been to the zoo since 3rd grade-ish, so about 11 years. It was fun, saw some cute aminals. It was mostly little kids on field trips today, so not that many people. The highlight of the day was when we saw some turtles humping doggie style. The little kids happen to be around at the time and their teacher just told them they were "fighting". It was great.. =P
We drove to the beach afterwards. It was quite chilly so there wasn't any actual swimming or any physical contact with the water. But it was nice just sitting on the sand together.
After taking me home, our familia went out to Korean town to eat. Shit is mad crazy down there. Parking lots were packed. Not only were the spots filled, there were cars parked horizontally infront of the actual spots. But dinner was great =) <3 all you can eat meat! rawr!
One major thing I learned today. LA traffic is a bitch! From like 4-7, everywhere you go is traffic. Freeway, feeder road, everywhere! It's too much. But food here is great. So much better than Houston. Ima miss boyfriend and food when I go home =(
