| My Jealous LoverThere are times when I encounter deep pain from the people closest to me and in those times, it causes me to think upon the Lord because I know His love for me is the deepest. God's love cannot be reached nor does it know any boundaries. God is jealous for our love for Him and He wants all of our attention, love, focus, adoration, admiration for Him. He is continuously longing for us because He is a lover beyond all other lovers. How can He not be a lover when He himself is love and has created us to know and taste love from others as well? It is His will that you know and be awakened to love. Love longs to be loved though it is selfless. It gives itself endlessly unselfishly and it's a flame that longs to draws itself to set you on fire to life and to itself. This is for your benefit that you become aflame in passion for it. It becomes hurt and withdraws itself (not because it wants to withhold love from you but because it feels that you do not welcome it or is running away from itself... because it respects you, it will not impose against your wishes) even when you cannot realize that it loves you the most. It believes it should be the only one most adored and highly praised because its love is endless and deeper than all the oceans. This is not selfish or unrighteous because it knows its place and it is secure in itself. That security is a confidence in knowing its measures and how much of itself it can give. It is confident that when you ask for more of it, it knows it can give itself unceasingly no matter the circumstance or how much you have withdrawn yourself from it. This security is not a pride that it boasts in something that it cannot do but a maturity in understanding and in its ability to scan and measure its depth. True and perfect love will not be able to measure itself because it is so deep and when it looks at its lover, it knows how much its lover needs and will be able to fill abundantly more than the lover can fathom. It seeks to give, nourish, grow, help, prosper its lover. When you hurt it, the only thing that will stop its pain and restore its peace is when you reach out to it and long to be reconciled with it. With all of your heart you must reconcile or the peace of it will become a turbulent hurricane. It will always be there waiting for you. When you give yourself fully to love, you will know true life. You will be able to breathe the true air that belongs to you since you have been born. You will be able to encounter continuously this bliss as long as you desire. It becomes your addiction more than anything that moves or breathes or the lack thereof. That is why God has created you and others. He longs that you would know and experience His love and experience and know this love for and from others. He longs for unity in His body.
------------------------------------ Exodus 34:14 Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
Songs of Songs 7:10 “I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.” (the word “desire” is in reference in the Hebrew is “shuwq”- in the original sense of stretching out after; a longing)
Songs of Songs 8:6 “Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame.” God’s love is so perfect that it conquered death to bring us salvation. He is victorious and nothing can stop Him. He is so jealous for us that He was willing to put Himself down in the darkest place to destroy anything that will be between you and Him. The “seal” here refers to a signet ring like the one you use in marriage as also the one that comes from a King to give you a personal authority to open the documents into His heart and the mighty power that also comes from His strong arms through the Holy Spirit. (chatham); a signature-ring :- seal, signet. | | |
| Hey BabeMatt 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes."
- the word "babe" here is used in the same reference or meaning to the word "children" from Ephesians 4:14 which describes a young Christian that's so easily tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. At the same time, God would make it His perfect pleasure to reveal it to these youngs ones. Why? Because we are not to look at anyone any less than us and that we are to rely on each other to grow in Him. The wise, the prudent, the teachers should come to the young Christians and not despise him/her because of her/his spiritual age but we can all learn from one another.
God is so good that He makes it hard for any of us to boast in ourselves to give Him the glory. | | |
| answer prayerI was rushing to get my definitions printed for my statistics class for the midterm yesterday and the printer wouldn't print!! the teachers let us use the definitions on the exams... it's like our cheat sheet but done legally..hehe. i changed the ink cartridge and did everything but it still wouldn't work. afterward, my brother came in and tried to fix it. we attempted to print for about 7 times and finally, he gave up and left. i began to pray and ask God to fix the printer so then finally, i printed it the last time and the black ink was visible. i was able to get the definitions printed just in time =)

| Let Your Scent be RememberedHosea 14:4-9 (New American Standard Bible)
" 4I will (A)heal their apostasy, I will (B)love them freely, For My anger has (C)turned away from them. 5I will be like the (D)dew to Israel; He will blossom like the (E)lily, And he will take root like the cedars of (F)Lebanon. 6His shoots will sprout, And his beauty will be like the (G)olive tree And his fragrance like the cedars of (H)Lebanon. 7Those who (I)live in his shadow Will again raise (J)grain, And they will blossom like the vine. His renown (Literal Greek word is: rememberance; NKJV "scent") will be like the wine of Lebanon. " When we continue to stay in the love of God, in His presence, and let Him love us freely... When we know and understand in our hearts and minds that God loves us freely, we will be able to bring a FRAGRANCE or a scent, that is the glory of God, to others that will again even bring the revelations of the Word of God, of God, and the experiences you have with God into their lives as well. (That is why fellowshipping with other believers is essential in our growth in God.)They will be able to cultivate and grow in every spiritual truths when we speak and live a life that is pleasing before the Lord. That is the impact that you have in the spirit when you know and taste the love of God. The Word of God says "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away" (Matt 24:35). And when we have the Word of God dwelling in us, Jesus Christ (reference to John 1:1), we will be a blessing to others in ways that will IMPACT eternity. Whether or not they will remember our names, the people that we touch will remember the FRAGRANCE of God in our lives.
In v. 7, the word "grain" refers to the Word of God. In Isaiah 28:28, it says that grain must be ground to make bread and we know that bread refers to the Word of God because Jesus said that man does not live by bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Also, this is crucial, we are commanded to do several things with the "grain." We have to put salt on it and we have to put oil and incense on it (reference to Leviticus 2). When we read the word of God, we must rely and ask the Holy Spirit, that is the oil, to lead us into all truths so we can hold onto those truths and remember them. When we put salt on the grain, that is we must lead a life that will reflect the words we believe. We are told to be salt or be a light in this world. Reading the word of God and not putting it into action will just make us buff or prideful in our knowledge. It is comparable to being spiritually fat, but when we walk it out and run with it, we will be healthy like the Lord desires us to be. Finally, incense refers to a holy life of intercession, too because the prayers of the saints are like incense before the Lord (Revelations 5:8). In Isaiah 56:7, God calls us to be a house of prayer. That is one of the best weapons we have against the enemy to advance the Kingdom of God. When we seek and knock, we will find and receive exceedingly and above anything that we can ever pray or imagine. That is the God we serve.
Hallelujah. Be a blessing to others.

| Making a Vow to My HusbandSome time when I was reading the book called, "Redeeming Love" that Karla let me borrow (awesome book so far... it's like a modern story of Hosea set in the 1850s), I had a huge desire in my heart to make God my husband. I no longer want to make Him just my... "fiance" (i think i usually think of him as my fiance because of this picture i have when i think that Jesus is going to bring His bride back to His side as if we are not married yet) but to make Him my husband. I no longer want to "cheat" on Him on anything and I desire so much to be completely pure for Him in everything-physically, spiritually, mentally. I want to please His heart so much. I want to win the world with Him by my side. I want to completely die to my flesh so that the Spirit can be free to flow through me as the waters go through any deserted area that has never been touched before. I want to commit to completely serve God and serve people with all love, faith, and hope with power rather than just words.
I ask that God would help me as I humble myself and ask for His grace to find strength to fight the good fight and win this race with style.
