i have come to the conclusion that xanga is just not for me... i can't seem to keep up with updating this darn thing. i don't know what it is... i even tried to keep up a private section as a sort of virtual diary thing... yup.. 2 entries later.. nothing. i have been attempting to do the xanga thing for years now.. 5 years maybe? and it's been on and off since. i don't get how people manage to update their xanga so much...
and the person who i was attempting to update my xanga for hasn't updated her xanga in almost a month now! THANKS SUE CHOI!! lol
ok well..since i'm on here i might as well write an update..
so.. i went on my cruise to Alaska.. that was.......interesting. Here is the cruise in a nutshell:
- it was full of old people. people either too old or too young. no happy medium for tracy.
- it was dead by like 10-11 pm.
- there was enough food on board to ensure that if we ever got stranded in the middle of the ocean we would all be able to survive for a good amount of time.
- everyday was a routine. Wake up, eat, go on shore (if we docked, if not work out and eat), eat, jacuzzi and sauna, eat, show, some other event that was going on, then my uncles room ("the wine cellar" as they called it), and then the disco/lounge. everyday..that's what we did.
- it was somewhat boring... but relaxing and good family time at the same time. I did not have to read a book to occupy my time. there was always something to do, not that it was something exciting.. but it was something.
ok so that was basically the cruise... oh and for all those people that are wondering... No, the ship did not cruise through glaciers floating in the ocean and alaska was not covered with snow. i did not see penguins, polar bears, or eskimos. (although that would have been quite exciting). we saw one glacier and it was chillin in the mountains. (which was not what i was expecting). i saw the tail of a whale and a few fins popping up somewhere out in the ocean. a few bald eagles, and some spawning salmon. i think the most productive thing i did the whole week was go kayaking... which was extremely cold and tiring might i add.
and since i'm so bored i'll go ahead and add some pictures...
