| Welp, I just found out that I won't be needed for jury service this Thursday and Friday. Bummer. I was actually looking forward to it.
Now, on a totally unrelated note, I want to tell you about two financial blogs I've enjoyed reading lately: www.thesimpledollar.com and www.freemoneyfinance.com . Both sites are updated at least daily, and both share loads of easy tips for stretching hard-earned money. Check 'em out!

| Long time no see...It's been two months since my last post. Pretty long time. I've been trying to keep up with reading your blogs as they appear daily in my e-mail inbox, but I haven't been great about leaving comments.
So much has happened since we got married. It's truly been an adventure! More about my life when I have time to leave a longer post. Believe it or not, summer as a grad student has been busy!
Since I mentioned Bradford pear trees earlier this spring, I am proud to announce that we have one in our yard. IIt did the pretty flower thing early on, but now the leaves are falling off in the summer heat. Just thought I'd let you know.
And guess what...our garbage disposal has problems. This is the third place in a row with a bad garbage disposal. Weird.
ANYWAY, I hope things are going well for everyone. Later!

| Tomorrow's the big day. I'm a little nervous! Married folks tell me that life will be better in so many ways. Knowing that brings comfort, but it doesn't cure the small knot that has formed in my stomach from nervous anticipation. I feel jittery because tomorrow is the day we've awaited our whole lives. I truly believe that God brought Kami and me together. It's so obvious when I look at the last five years. And I'm positively sure that she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, because I can't imagine spending life without her. Everything just feels so surreal. I can't believe that I'm actually the one who's getting married at the wedding tomorrow. I'm not running sound, playing piano, being an usher, or being a groomsman. Nope. I'm marrying my dream girl, my best friend, my one true love.

| Rain, rain, rainy shuts down my brain, brain, brainy. It's hard to get motivated about homework when all I want to do is sleep. Nothing beats a leisurely snooze on a cold, rainy day. One benefit the rain has brought is relief from my tree pollen allergies. Rain on!

| So I was up close and personal with a Bradford Pear tree yesterday...and it didn't smell weird! Maybe they don't stink the way I thought they did. I was almost certain that I smelled something funny each time I walked by one on campus, though.
