The pictures above are of orphans in Romania. These kids live in horrible conditions, many of them, for the entire lives. Some stay in cribs for hours and hours because the orphanages and institutions they're in don't have enough staff to take care of them all. There are teenagers who wheigh 40lbs because they are so malnurished. There are teenagers and people into their 20's who've never learned to walk because they've never been taken out of the cribs they've spent their entire childhood in. These kids are just left because no one wants them. Most are left because they have disabilities. The sad part is that most of them get disablities in these places. Some kids are kept in the back of adult mental facilites! They become emotionally detached from having so little human contact. Children who develope a little slower than their peers or kids who are just cross-eyed are taken for mentally retarded. These kids are being hurt emotionally, and physically for no fault of their own. Many of them are "normal" and could live decent "normal" lives if someone would just spend time with them. All these kids really need is love and good care. Isn't the greatest love, Christ's love? Doesn't God care for all of his children? If so, then why don't we do something. How dare we complain about cellphones, computers, and HDTV, when these kids don't have enough food, attention, or people who care! We could make a difference in their lives! We could help! BRBC Youth Group especially, and any Christian, or anybody else who reads this for that matter, in general, we CAN do something. It's just a matter of if we WILL. Missions trips, contacting churchs there and sending toys, blankets, diapers, money, anything that would help. We've got to do something. The links above the pictures are to articles on this subject. I'm expecting a lot of comments on this guys. I want to know what you think and what we can start doing now.

I'm tired. Daniel's at the Nine Inch Nails concert with Ian so I can't talk to him right now. That kinda sucks. This has been my first day on my Hypoglycemic (however you spell it) diet. I haven't been diagnosised exactly, I still need to take a blood test, but we're pretty sure that's what I've got. It seems to be working thus far. One day isn't really going to prove anything though. I got my ears peirced today. That was fun. It was really fun going first, telling my sister that it didn't hurt, and then watching her face when she got her's done. LOL! I am so evil. Stephen is about to find out just how evil I can be, bwahahaha! You just wait, DudeCrushTurtleMan, you're turn is coming. Anyway, it's time that I ate something and went to bed. Goodnight everybody!

He dropped me off a few houses down because it was a suprise party, so I had to walk the rest of the way. I got there and met the people I didn't know, the birthday girl was shocked, everything was fine. We went to pick up another girl and then we went to the movies. So far so good. We saw Harry Potter. For any of you who follow the series, to movie was okay, I mean it had cool special effects and everything, but they took HUGE chunks out of the book, and didn't get into very much detail on anything. It was sort of like a general synopsis of the book in pictures. I would have much rather seen Narnia. (Does ayone want to take me? I want to see that movie sooooooo bad!!!)After the movie we went back to the house and ate pizza, she opened her gifts, all was good. Then we gave her another of her suprises. This is where it ceased to be fun. We went out behind and to the side(way to the side) of my house to........suspense, suspense............set of fireworks! That was scary all in itself and I kept backing away from the others. Then one of the big ones stopped shooting up and starting shooting across the ground! It was so close to me! I COULD HAVE DIED!!!!! I about had a heartattack right there on the spot. We all came running out of the field screaming our fool heads off. After all the excitment with the fireworks we went back to the safety of the house. FALSE ALARM!!!! We went out to the park to play flashlight tag! I was a popcicle. When we finally went back to stay they started talking about watching House of Wax. I don't do well with scary movies. Scary Movie 3 gave me nightmares and that was supposed to be funny! I call my mom and she came and got me. I didn't spend the night. The were watching the Breakfast Club when I left. Anyway, that was my traumatic experiance for the week! I went to Daniel's house on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I was only there for a hour so I pretty much just played with his new phone the whole time. It was funny. I was putting people's numbers into his phone and he took it away from me! He turned it off and plugged it in! Then he asked me why I was poking him! As if it wasn't completly obvious! I told him,"Well you took your phone away from me, now what am I supposed to do!" We laughed, cause that was funny. Sunday his brothers and everybody came over and we played games, watched a movie, and ate. It was fun. I should probably go now, I have stuff I'm supposed to be doing. I love you people! I LOVE YOU PEOPLE!!!! I w00t you!!! Happy New Year!!!!
