1 Year!!  Wow.  I must say . . . it doesn't seeem like Marc and I could really have been married for a full year.  But it really has been that long.  Now I know that in the scheme of things, one year isn't that long.  But it is a rather noteable milestone.  I must also point out (even if it is a little on the mushy side) that this past year of my life has been the best one of my life.  I'm not just saying that either.  I really can't think of any better.  Makes me excited to olok forward about the years we have ahead of us. 

I'm taking my ring in the be soddered (sp?) and plated tomorrow.  That's my anniversary gift.  Marc wanted to get me something else but I said that's what I wanted.  :)   I got him this really awesome Archeological Study Bible.  I'd never seen one before, but it has to be the coolest Bible I've ever seen.  Makes me wish I had one.  (I'll just have to "borrow" his!)

Okay.  I'm off to go balance the checkbook.  Exciting afternoon, huh?

Well, well.  It's been a stinkin' month since I've posted.  Sorry to all of you whose hopes I've dashed against the rocks.  My deepest apologies.  For the rest of you who've just wondered where I've been . . . . I'm just a Xanga slacker.  No excuses.  No reasons.  Just MY bad.  Now - I could tell you how insanely busy I've been, but I'm always busy, so that's not a very good excuse.  Is it? 

Not much to report from the OK.  I started teaching music at a local private school.  It's just one day a week and today's my second week, so I don't really know if I like it yet or not. 

For those of you who've been praying for my mom, she's doing some better.  Just wanted to let all of you know.  She still has lots of stuff to deal with (we get one report back from the doc today) but I'm glad she's at least feeling better. 

I can't wait for my friend Annie to come a visit!!!  She's coming in 10 days, and I'm so excited.  Then immediately after that, I go to Springfield for the National Prayer Summit (not so exciting, but maybe it will be good).  [Side note for a particular friend - Not as good as Pastor's School.]

On to Valentine's Day.  Marc wanted to take me out tonight (even though we did go out Friday FOR Valentine's Day) but we decided not to go tonight  . . . since we're broke right now!  Eventually you too will reach a place in life when you can no longer deny the truth - plain and simple.  And that's that.

So I'm off to work (which is at this computer - but when I'm ont eh internet, I get no work fone).  Bye for now, and hopefully - it won't be month beofre I hop on this beastie again.

Okay, so wednesday was 80's night at Elevate.  I was decked out in the stone-washed  jeans, bad sweater (w/ shoulder pads), matching white shoes, belt, and ear-rings - and I had the mad cool, ratted, side ponytail.  (Not to mention some "rad" eye make-up.)  You should have seen it!  [Did I mention that Marc shaved everything but his mustache (gross!) and so pulled off the whole Don Johnson thing?  It was SO bad (by that I mean good)]

Anyway, we're heading up to Tulsa today for the Youth Worker's Conference.  We're not very excited.  But, oh well.  Maybe it will be better than I'm expecting.  ???

Sdie note - our dog is SO a cat.  You should see him.  He's a disgrace to "dogdum" everywhere.  (Don't pretend you don't know what I mean)

Good Morning all!!

I'm feeling great today (which is a change, because I'm usually like an old woman in the mornings . . . seriously).

Anyway, feeling pretty good.  Should be doing work, but I'll get to that in a minute.  I have tons of taxes due for the company (State Unemployment, State withholding, Medicare, blah, blah, blah.)  Hey, you asked.  No, wait.  You didn't. Sorry. 

So, last night, we had a GREAT service at Elevate.  Attendance was up.  We had 54 people (including us) and MOST of that number was junior high and high school kids.  That was awesome.  It was also STL night and it was great to see the way our kids responded to missions.  I was stinkin' excited.

Maximus is diggin' the doggie doors.  You should see him.  The only problem I'm having this morning is that he keeps bringing sticks inside and I can't seem to get it through his head that they belong outside!!

So for the promised blonde moments . . . .

A couple of days ago, Marc and I were watching TV.  I had just come back into the room and caught the end of a commercial.  (I didn't know it was a commercial to report cable theft.) So, the end of the commercial says "Go the the web site and do your part" (or something like that) and the address was cabletheft.com                                               So I read the screen and think "cable the foot" and ask Marc what that means!  I know, but I have never had those type of "blonde moments" before - so I guess I was overdue.  ???  I don't know.

So, I've embarrassed myself enough today.  Don't be too hard on me, or I'll never share the other embarrassing stuff.
