Last night some people had a party at our housing complex and to chill the hundred or so beers they purchased, they just left them outside.  Colder than the fridge.

It is really interesting having a Chinese roommate.   Two weeks ago he made us pig's feet, and tonight I'm having fish head among other things for dinner.  Yeah.

I've discovered that if you leave a dirty shirt sitting in your room for two months and do nothing, it won't smell anymore.  And that is the shirt I'm wearing tonight.

Some pictures of Leiden, the town where I'm studying.

It's been two days in Barcelona and I'm having some of the must fun I've ever had with Jack and David.  Last night we finished dinner at midnight, rolled up to the club around 1:30 and I didn't hit the couch until 5:30 am.  But that's how they do things here...Jack had class today at 1, so he promised we apologized for having to come back so early and promised a later night tomorrow.  As Dallas commented in my last blog, the women here are extraordinarily beautiful--its really pretty ridiculous.   I've seen a good deal of the city (mostly because I was lost yesterday and wandered for 4 hours) and it is very beautiful.  You get a real art vibe here eminating from everything...even the grafitti is pretty outstanding.  Spain is a lot cheaper than anywhere else I've been in the EU except for Greece, so its a nice change.  Going to see some of the Gaudi houses today and finally bring my camera to take some picturas.  My Spanish has come back a little bit and I can have simple conversations, order food, ask for directions, etc.  It's actually really fun speaking another language to a point where you can understand most things you read and whatnot.  Alright, we're going to the beach.
