You Make Me Want to Vomit

R. Kelly (R.....for repulsive) is finally going to trial in Sept. for his child pornography charges.  It's about damn time.  Nasty bastard.  This only happened like 5 friggin' years ago. How many continuations or postponements are you allowed to get?  Pervert plead not guilty on 14 (count 'em....fourteen) counts of   child pornography.  He's accused of 'allegededly' performing sex acts with an underage girl and videotaping it.  Sick.  Come on, like he couldn't find some 'ho' his own age that wanted to freak it with him? Probably not.  That's why he had to go pick some little girl.  Shit like this really makes me angry.  A grown man, yeah, he knew better.  His, I'm sure very well paid lawyers, have even gone so far as to say that is might not even be R. Kelly on the tape.  They say it could be a computer likeness of him.  Huh?  Say what?  And whatever they are on is damn good if they want me to believe that.  Sorry that just doesn't jive right with me.  They need to give me something a little bit better than that. 

Thanks to everyone that gave me advice on baby's teething dilema.  I've tried them all but the popsicles and that's on the list for the grocery store today. 

What You Talking About Policeman

Former child star Gary Coleman was cited for disorderly conduct a couple of days ago.  He was having an argument with his lady friend in his vehicle.  Witnesses saw him hit the steering wheel with his hand.  Woo.  Scary.  He got out of the car screaming and waving his hands.  That had to be just terrifing for everyone.  Good grief.  What is the big deal?  So he and chickie were in a little fuss.  It couldn't have been that scary.  I mean I could totally have whooped his ass if he got too out of control.  What is he, 3 feet tall?  Geesh.  I kinda think he might get out of this one.  What were the witnesses, 2nd graders?  I don't think Gary Coleman would frighten me.  Not a bit. 

Question of The Day (for you Moms out there or Dads):  What do you do for your little one when he/she is teething?  Hunter won't use his teether or a wet wash cloth.  I'm doing the Baby Oragel thing and that seems to help some.  Thanks for any advice you can give me.  I really appreciate it!  Oh yeah, Hunter only has 2 bottom teeth and he's cutting one on top now (he's a year old).  I didn't have ANY teeth until I was 14 mths. old. 

Health Tip of The Day:  If you suffer from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, you should avoid certain vegetable:  potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, sweet peppers and hot peppers.  Why?  Because they contain solanine, a compound that worsens joint pain.  Oh wonderful.  I love all of those veggies.  The pain is bad enough without anything making it worse than it is.  Blah.  But, there's your 411 for the day.

But I Didn't Know

Nicole Ritchie.  Poor pitiful child.  Nicole said she didn't know the weed and Vicodin (mixed with alcohol) would have any impact on her driving the night she went the wrong way on the interstate.  Please.  Not only does is say on the bottle of Vicodin not to drive, but it also says not to mix it with alcohol.  Why would she have know? Apparently she can't read.  She was taking Vicodin for menstrual cramps.  Sure, like they don't make Pamprin or Midol anymore.  All women take narcotics for cramps, right?  This is her 2nd DUI and she is only spending 4 days in jail.  FOUR.  What the fuck?  In NC you spend 30 days in jail for your 2nd DUI.  I think she's getting off way to light.  It's not working for me.  Nope.  Damn, Paris had to do alot more time than that and it was only her first offense.  Hmmm.  Yeah, we all know by now that Nicole is almost 4 mths. pregnant.  That's nice.  How is she going to eat for two when it looks like she's barely eating for one?  This has me a little concerned.  I do hope everything turns out okay with the baby.  I also hope she gets her life straightened out and that she has learned a lesson (or will learn one once she spends her few little days in jail).  Hell, I could sleep for 4 days in jail.  I just don't think that is sufficent time to reflect on what you did wrong. 

Tip of The Day:  Feel like it takes forever and a day to dry your hair?  Use a higher-wattage hair dryer (at least 1875) for faster results. 

I Knew It

I knew it.  Star Jones Reynolds is finally admitting that she had gastric bypass surgery (in Aug. 2003).  Duh.  Do I look like an idiot?  I knew she that a long time ago people.  I knew old girl didn't lose that weight drinking shakes.  Please.  Homegirl loves her food way too much for that.  What was the big secret???  She says she didn't admit it because she was "afraid someone would have a tragic result after emulating her".  Humph.  Yeah, bullshit.  She just didn't want to say her fat ass couldn't lay off the junk food.  Unfortunately, she still looks like shit.  Losing that 160 lbs. didn't make her look much better.  She needs to gain some of it back.  She just looks scary now.  Why do people take dieting too far?  Women should have curves.  I haven't met a man yet that wants to sleep with a chick that looks like a ruler. 

Baby celebrated his 1st birthday Sunday.  Aww, he was so cute.  He didn't really like having cake all over his hands.  It kind of ticked him off just a little bit.  He got lots of presents.  I cannot believe he is a year old.  Amazing. 

How It Happened

The whole deal that happened with Lindsay was her own damn fault.  A 911 call came in from the mother of Lindsay's ex personal assistant (she had quit hrs. before this incident).  The mother called the police telling them that Lindsay was chasing her in her SUV.  The police arrived to find Lohan and the mother in an argument at 1:30 am. in a parking lot.  They found coke in Lindsay's pocket at the police station while they were booking her.  She claims she doesn't do drugs and the coke wasn't hers.  *laugh*.  I always go around carrying coke for other people, don't you?  What an idiot.  Geesh.  She couldn't come up with something better than that. Oh nevermind, I know what happened.  The Coke Fairy came down and planted to powder in her pocket.  Silly me!  Gosh, that's what always happens.  Wonder how the alcohol got in her system?  Did a friend drink it and it seeped into Lindsay's system by accident?  OH OH OH, I know.  Someone spilled 4 martinis on the alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet and that's how she got drunk.  Darn her bad luck.  So now she's facing felony coke possession charges, DUI and driving on a suspended license.  I must say her mug shot wasn't bad though.  She looked good.  Atleast she's back in rehab as of last night.  We know how well rehab has worked for her the last 3 times.  I'm certain this time will work just as well.  Promises.  HHumph....promise what???  That you'll be more fucked up coming out of the place than you were when you went it. 

Hair Tip of The Day:  Here's a quick fix to get glossy hair.  Wrap a warm towel around your head after applying conditioner.  The heat helps the conditioner penetrate and that leaves your hair soft, shiny and smooth!
