Food Review: Yong Tat Seafood Restaurant, Teluk GongLast Monday, I drove all the way to Klang to meet up with Hui Yin, her sister and her bro-in-law. Well, I woke up at 10am on a public holiday...so there must be a very good reason for me to do so. And the reason was, super fresh and delicious seafood at Teluk Gong, Klang!!
Mr. Low (that bro-in-law) tried this Yong Tat Restaurant for the first time few nights before, and apparently he loved it! So he wanna bring me and Hui Yin to try it too (just an excuse for him to eat the cholestrol-rich prawns)
After braving through the Klang's city centre's notorious traffic, we arrived at the nondescript-looking shoplot about 20 minutes later.

After deciding what to order (Mr. Low actually ordered anything that he can think of), we settled down at a small table, next to a window. No scenic stuff to see here, unlike those restaurant at Port Klang, just some nice cars of people from KL and even Singapore and some attap houses.
But the food that arrived soon later, is worth much much more than any scenery!

1. First to arrive is the deep-fried prawn, still taste fresh despite fried 2. Steamed prawn, you got to eat it with the gravy

3. Roasted kampung chicken; so so saja 4. Marmite crabs with lots of roe, yummm

5. Deep-fried squid; not very nice 6. Fried Kuey Teow with Prawns; lovin' it

7. Bamboo clam (ala-Kam Heung). They serve very nice bamboo clams here, right size and right taste. 10 out of 10!!
Super full after walloping everything on the table. It's been awhile since the last time I enjoy seafood so much.

Obviously Matthew is not a seafood-lover huh? Anyway, look at the fatty thigh...just like mine!

1. Hui Yin and her beloved sister. 2. Matthew woke up liau...same stoney face like his dad's
I'm not good when it comes to seafood's prices. So I took a shot of the receipt and you guys be the judge k? But please....go and try, it's certainly worth the long drive there.
