Over the labor day weekend, I went to northern california with my parents. First stop was Napa Valley. The ever sunny napa valley was a nice place. The cool breeze blows by the peaceful and serene town. We stopped by some winery and tasted their different wines. They had all these fancy french names but to me they all had one taste: bitter.

San Fransisco was the next place. First of all, the weather was NICE. I'm talking just right for me: around 75 degrees. Then the scenery was NICE. Tall buildings everywhere and very hilly.
As for people, I noticed that there are so many thin people there! It was hard to believe that it's an American city. Also apparently  there were alot of hot girls...dont' know if they were tourists or ppl that lived there... It was kind of hard to drive there though. Not only do you have to dodge incoming cars, incoming people, but also those incoming railcarts, on hilly hilly roads. Although driving there is hectic, and drivers are somewhat reckless, they are not assholes like alot of L.A. drivers. If you cut them off, they are not going to honk and cuss at you. I guess they are used to the driving style. If you live in the city, you don't even need a car, and most people don't drive. Just hop on a railcart or walk..Oohhh thats why there are few fat ppl, cuz they are not lazy asses and actually walk to places.
I think if I were a writer or some sort of job that does not require to be at a certain place for work, I'd like to live there. Good weather, good scenery, alot of hot girls...don't have to drive...

Korean dramas:

ugh....korean dramas....drives me nuts sometimes. typical cliched plot: 3 people in high school or college, 2 guys 1 girl get into the triangle love situation. One guy will be the quiet, better looking, taller, sometimes an asshole type of guy, the other guy will be a nice, warm hearted, thoghtful, but a lil bit shorter. The girl will like the taller guy from the beginning but then will date the nice guy just to make the other guy jealous. Then the nice guy will think that he has a chance only to catch the other 2 making out . Feeling betrayed by his best friend ( those 2 guys are usually best friends), but too nice to doing anything to get back at them. He will then wander off in the streets drunk and sad, losing the will to live, and get hit by a big truck.

FREAKEN TRUCKS! this one i jsut saw I swear, the truck was like A MILE away when the driver saw this guy, he honked at the guy for LITERALLY 2 MINUTES before hitting him.

That 2 minutes is like my most painful moments, i keep saying to the driver:" omfg... just STOP PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL and you'll probly stop before you hit him"

Anyways, this always happens early on in the drama. WHOs fault is it? THE GIRLS FAULT!!!  TAKE YOUR FREAKEN PICK!! don't mess with guy's emotions!

after 10 min of watching i already know what the whole drama will offer...sigh

Yesterday marks the beginning of another chapter in the world of karaoke. 4PM to 1AM. NONSTOP singing. I feel so sorry for our vocal chords, we were beating them like how nascar drivers beat their cars...my voice was broke before even going to Charles' place to sing, but somehow after eating some miracle cough drops given by Sarah I got my voice back, I even set a new record of high when singing "ºÚÉ«ÓÄĬ"by Jay Chou. Although my natural voice range limit goes up to F, during that song I was somehow able to go up to Bflat with my natural voice and D in the next octave with my falsetto. Damn...had to rest a while before able to sing again.  I think the effects of big speakers and group of people singing together easily open ups untapped potential in singers, as demostrated by everyone else. Kevin came to the party a little late but took the spotlight immediately with his awsome guitar and musicwriting skills. We sang til all our voices broke, then drank water, ate pizza, and started singing again. After a long while we finally decided that we have tortured Charles' parents long enough and left. I hope we all level up in singing instead of having permanent damage to vocal chords

It's that month of the year again. Flowers bloom, warm breeze flow by every day, sunlight is not too harsh but warm and gentle, birds sing at 3AM........(grumbles)

Anyways, allow me to use this time to present to you my new song: "JuneSky". Finally finished with it, I started over a month ago. This time, the lyric is written by a talented friend from UPenn, coincidentally her name is June.
