Homeward Bound? not for my cellphone....

Uh-oh!

Bad news, friends.

We (my cousin, aunt, et cetera) went to Iowa yesterday. I managed to leave my cellphone someplace. Why'd I bring it to Iowa? I'm not sure. Maybe, magically, I thought, my cellphone might get reception here in this grand state! I was wrong. And now it is gone forever.

It's not that big of a deal 'cause I needed an upgrade like nobody's business. Alas, I now am without everyone's number.

Please. If you are my friend, leave me a message on my phone. Or something. I'll get it and write yer number down.

I'm coming home tomorrow(!)

Christmas, yo!

Dead Bodies Everywhere

Today I went to the Science Museum herr in St. Paul and went to their WONDERFUL display of REAL HUMAN BODIES! (note: all caps=EXCITING!!!)  They had all of these different DEAD people with their skin stripped off doing normal, everyday things. One was teaching, one was playing chess, others basketball, running and my favorite two were ice skating.

There was even a MOTHER with a BABY inside of her. There were also a whole bunch of fetuses. They looked so peaceful... Ok, even though I am pro-choice, it's not like I ooed and awed over 'em. Seeing the little boys and girls from just fertilized to still in the womb really made me appriciate life. I know if circumstances had been different, that could've been me placed on a soft black cloth, still positioned as if I were still inside my mama.

OMG! I got to hold a REAL HUMAN LIVER! Fuck yes! ...the only un-cool part of it is that it was from an adolescent aka CHILD.  Like, a twelve year old. Eebie-jeebies.  It wasn't like I was holding the actual slimey organ; they have processed 'em where they replace all the water in the organs with silicone, makin' 'em kinda hard and plastic-y.

It was really a sweet experience.

OK! Last thing about the bodies: Some of them had been cut into slices and various chunks, et cetera. One of them had tattoos but they (the German scientists who did it all) cut off part of the skin where one tattoo had been. I am pretending it was inappropriate so they got rid o' it.

Alrighty. Peace out, my friends.

***PS I really need to talk to some one who's gonna listen to me, so friends, get ready for when I come back. I've got some decisions to be making and I need in put! Thank ye muchly.

...I'm kinda weirded out.

I was looking for pictures of fauxhawks just in case that woman who cuts my hair isn't cool or whatever, and I ended up on haircuts.net.  WHICH is kinda like a weird fetish site for people who like to watch pretty girls with gorgeous hair get it all shaved off. They're wearing clothes and all, but you have to PAY to watch the DVD of 'em getting their heads shaved. WTF? I really don't get it. Who's gonna get off to that? Not me. Well...Yeah. I could probably get off to it, but not that it'd turn me on or assist me in my getting off. Ya know. Sheeet.
