| so i finally saw the narnia movie...actually was really good. the
adaptation was amazing and sure it wasn't the cartoon version that i
grew up with, it was still pretty good, although for some reason they
made susan a bit of a prissy bitch, but other than that i really liked
it. there were a few extra scenes that didn't happen, but really
the messege stayed very true to the book. they also did a pretty
good job of keeping all the allusions to the bible intacted, and it was
maybe easier to understand watching it instead of reading it...at least
to catch the allusions. clearly the lion is jesus, anyone could
kind of tell that, the girls are the two marys...and edmund is
judas...and also the representation of all flaws of people...and
sins...and the queen and comp. are the romans. overall they did a
pretty good job, but i think that in the book there was more of an
allusion to the 39 lashes, which they omited from the actual movie,
which i think is a mistake. i may need to reread the books...but
really...pretty good. matt prob. put it the best when comparing
judas to edmund, "judas was paid with blood money...edmund was paid
with turkish delights". i wonder how many other people saw this
sort of thing or the significance of the xmas theme...blah people need
to read more.
other thoughts...work is hard...hard work...makes me tired.
went to studio last night after spending a few horrid moments at
brothers...which i personally find stressful because they're always so
weird about underaged drinking and just in general no real place to
dance nor great choices of music. studio is always better...its
great that i really love gay bars...there may be something wrong with
me. seriously!

| woot woot another day at work...as always thrilling.
i overslept...b/c i left my alarm to go off as pm instead of am...yep,
i'm prei special. so i was late today, which sucked...it was just
a bad way to start...then the store was just stressful...only five of
the registars worked...so there were always lines for awhile we
couldn't get any of the registers to read the style numbers so we had
to go check prices the whole time...and no one would come to the
registers when we needed them. plus people just won't doing their
work....or responding to us...made me a bit on the insane side. i
did get to know new matt...or matt s. a bit better, so that was fun.
i am currently watching miss world....which seems really odd...but you
know fun to watch...woot woot, miss russia is a semi finalst!
woot woot...i can't believe i watch this stuff...its in china this
year...
i'm really tired, mostly of being away from school....i mean i love it
here to a certain extent, i love my friends here etc etc, but they're
all studying right now, and its just so much harder to hang out here
than it is at knox.
blahhh...i'm gonna go finish watching....go russia!!!

| so first day back to work after being sick monday-friday....what a
blast! so i walked into the store and it was really funny
smelling...an hour into my shift and i started feeling dizzy two-three
hours i seriously hallucinated a few times and was really spacy....by
the end of the day most of us had to sit down at least once...yup
headach dizzy etc etc etc! so when i got off my shift i went down
to target with nicole....to buy a CO decetor....woot woot...pretty much
just a fun fun day at old navy.
i also bought jim's (my ma's boyfriend) present...scarf and gloves....yay!
i'm totally going to make my bro pay me for at least half of it.
other than that i've decided to start a diet....this should be
intresting....but i think its a good idea, i really just want to firm
everything up and well...whatever this is really just for me to know,
i'm going to start watching what i eat even more.
oh, yeah....i'm again reading another victoria holt book...sooooo good,
mystery love...murder....no explicate sex scenes....i'm a big fan

| so....fourthday....sick sick sick! still...thought i'd at least
gotten rid of the fever...alas its still going...slight, but still
there...this SUCKS!
and in fact so do my grades...okay well maybe i'm hypersensative...ugh,
i hate math...can i please just say that...well i hated all but my
gender and women's studies class this term, fall term soph.
year....WORST TERM EVA!!!
i'm excited to be talking to people whom i havn't talked to for awhile,
i love reconnecting with people....but i'm always afraid of getting
hurt...oh my, someone might read this and ealize i have feelings!

so i have a very content cat on my feet and a dog on my floor, can't
say its the worst way to be sick...but all i've had to eat in the past
four days is toast. blah...i'm tired...and want to read...plus
i've just had really weird emails as of late...which kind of sucks...my
life is weird. i also keep thinking of what horrible thing i
might have...maybe watching er doesn't help my case...ew.

oh, p.s. how trashy does my book today look....i swear its not as
trashy as it looks its a sweet murder mystery where ppl fall in
love...but nothing explicate...i swear!

| so, third day sick and feverish...blah so my toe is really funcky
looking, some ballet thing...its all bruised but earlier i was
concerened that maybe i had ganggreen of the toe...then wwould they
amputate it...and more importantly do they make false toes...like
legs? is that something that would work...how would they attach
it...could it be water proof...could i get permenate toe paint?
so many questions...all fever fueled as it were...
i am on my fourth book of the week...starting monday...yay...which is
weird given the amount of sleep i've needed...or been able to stay
awake for.
i am watching outside of my window and watching squirles play around. yay.
