| Einstein is the only man to disprove his theory. i personally thought that i could make a theory on "the hokie pokie." my colleague and I have established that "the hokie pokie" meaning can't be proven/disproven through imperical methods, rather our own philosophy.
We have concluded that the underlining meaning of the “hokie pokie that’s what it’s all about” isn’t what it’s all about. Yes, it’s hard to fathom that this is indeed a true statement. Of course you put your left foot in and put your left foot out, but what is the essence of this song? Is it a mathematical sequence, merely to pass time? Or is it something else, something deeper? These are some of the questions I have pondered for hours at a time. I have never done the “hokie pokie” to pass time, nor has it never helped me with homework. There has to be a philosophy to it. We don’t do the “hokie pokie” to be mathematical or symmetrical, we do it to express ones self. While doing the “hokie pokie” you escape everything. You enter your most desired reality. You’re filled with tranquility, serenity, desire, passion. Is it because it’s a mathematical sequence? No. It’s because of the lights, the music, and the overwhelming ambiance of the connection with the surrounding people moving as one.
It’s not about what you do (put your left foot in), but why you do it (express yourself through motion and to have the “hokie pokie” experience with friends). That’s what it’s all about….

| well i dont have any good news tonight. Charlotte and i broke things off earlier for some pretty immature reasons. I got mad and yelled at her, which upset her quite a bit. she told me she doesnt want to see me anymore, but will let me see my son! I guess i was naive to think that we would be a family. I am sitting here feeling like my heart has been torn out. If you wonder why find the post i made about her. She really was my everything and now i am just confused and dont know exactly what i need to do. It is hard to be productive when all i think about is why this had to happen. I love my son more than anything and i know its going to be hard for him to not have loving parents.
who knows what is going to happen. Maybe everything will work out and i wont want to drive off a bridge."metaphorically speaking". well here comes another depressing month, wish me luck............. | | |

As humans go through life they tend to have many questions to be answered. Why are we here, what is our purpose, is there a god. Maybe these questions will never be answered, maybe there not supposed to be answered. I have a few theories about god and religion that I would like to share.
First, there is a higher power and he created this physical universe. This is the most simplistic answer but definitely no the most explanatory. To believe that god created everything in existence is very contradictive. If it is possible that something called “god” can exist forever, without ever having been created, then that very same possibility applies to something called “universe". So the very idea that god has existed “forever without being created", at the very same time eliminates the need for a god altogether. Before man had the technological capabilities to understand how this universe came about we looked for an easy answer, which became god. When man created religion it gave meaning to life, it gave purpose and hope. It explained everything that man needed to know. That is one way to look at it; another way to look at it is religion was created to be a tool to control the mindless masses. People are stupid, a person is smart, and man knew this so they created a type of control to keep the future generations from destroying the world. If a Christian kills then god will punish him, if a man steals he is scared he will go to hell. That power alone can control more then any other super power. I believe in god, I don’t believe religion.
