| Finally done my 2 days at Aritzia! Haha omg they made us work like crazy. The team leaders and people were all really nice though. Except one of the team leaders, Sarah, kept setting (impossible) goals for us, and if we didn't meet them, we would not be fed, lol =P. It was all good though... We managed to finish around 12am on Friday morning, for the first day. Second day, we had to work until 1:30am Saturday morning. That's almost like a graveyard shift . But hey, it's better than Sport Chek. Those guys practically LIVE there!!
So after getting a little bit of beauty sleep, I had to get up for SHOPPING with Natalie and Alice =)!! Totally worth it. Bus-ed out to Lululemon outlet, sky-trained to Pacific Centre, and walked to Robson Street. Couldn't help taking a stroll down memory lane. Had lunch at RED ROBIN!!! Yummy mud pie brought back good old memories of VFD . Natalie and her extremely slow eating habits, rofl!! Alice and I had like 2 more quesadillas than her, and we still finished long before she did... just like VFD at the pizza place. Toured around Pacific Centre afterwards, but it was a super short walk, haha. Bus-ed back to RC. Came home just in time to get a call from Amber to go and exchange gifts! Amber, Deanna, Imane, and I all exchanged and opened gifts. LMAO, Amber bought us all "revealing" clothing from LA. I guess this is what happens when she spends 10 whole days away from home, with her basketball teammates, haha. We all tried on the clothing and took pics. Haha I looked so bad. Anyways, only about 2 more hours before that magical day we've been looking forward to!! So I guess all that's left to say is:
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! and HAPPY CHANUKAH!
| It's going to be Day 1 at Aritzia today, EEEKS!!! I'm nervous ... | | |
| To all the St. John Ambulance nerds out there:
Where was the Order of St. John founded ?
The answer is either England or Jerusalem. I know the origin of the Order of St. John goes all the way back to the Crusades in Jerusalem, but that's not where it was founded, was it ? *sigh*... I can't believe people talked me into typing up this study guide for the juniors. Anyhow, PLEASE HELP ME OUT!! Thanks!
| Friday's Breakfast with Santa was the best! I loved the set up and everything. And we must thank all the parents who came to school at 5:30am just to make the food and all. They did a really great job of it. Omgosh Mr. Allison was the best santa ever! I'm so glad we picked him. Like seriously, who DOESN'T want to sit on Mr. Allison's lap?? He's only the coolest principal ever! Haha. Teacher's 12 days of Christmas song. Some teachers weren't prepared, but I loved the "9 ladies dancing" and the "12 drummers drumming" (aka. No2 Rd band aka. teacher band). As for the "3 french hens", it worried me what Mr. Allison and Mr. Lancaster were implying with their inflatable wife thing ----> Deanna: "Did they just buy it for this, or is there some other purpose for it?" ROFLMAO!!!
Went skating with SJA at night! Totally awesome. I was forced to skate around the rink, even though I wanted to hang on to the little metal bars in the small area by the entrance. It was all good though. I didn't know how to stop, so I was really scared that I might crash into the little kids, fall on them, and paralyze them for life. I would feel SOO bad if that happened! Lol, omg some little kid skated right up to me and had to go on his back to avoid crashing into me, and ended up sliding in between my legs. I almost had a heart attack!! Yes, so then after skating, we went to Andrew's house!! Had a multicultural dinner at his place . Then we watched "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". I was so tired, I fell asleep part way through the movie and missed enough that I had no idea what was happening even when the movie had ended. Mrs. Vince made hot chocolate for us out of real white chocolate! Never had any before, but it was so good!!!!
Anyhow, I'm so happy I got my 8hrs of sleep today!! Slept from 2am to 10am, haha. OH!!! and Alice is coming back to Richmond! SHOPPING TIME , ROFL!!! Then... omgosh my mommy is coming back from HK today too! Yay!!!! Except that means I'll have a curfew again, haha. Oh well.... Maybe she'll be nicer about it because it's winter break *looks hopeful*.
