quick update.

Maybe more elaboration on these subjects later...

1.  Braces suck.  They make me look like my students!  They make bartenders laugh at me before they ask for my ID.  But, the braces diet is making me skinnier.  And I do like that...

2.  Student teaching 1/2 way over!  Crazy.  I don't know that I'm cut out for middle school.  Each grade level is so different and requires a new hat of tricks to keep them interested and out of trouble.  I'm just not sure I have the energy for it.  I love it though...some of the time. 

3.  Plantar wart from hell is still here.  Ballz!  Don't get them, they're painful.    Freezing isn't working, so I might have to look into some type of minor surgery?

4.  Andrew and I totally have the best Halloween costume idea EVER....   so, where's the party at?

3 things bothering me right now

1.  Parents got a divorce almost a month ago after a 26 year marriage.

2.  Plantar wart from hell on my big toe.  Means I can't wear cute shoes or go running.

3.  Getting braces in a week.

You really should check out the Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Bra.  Like seriously....holy crap it is comfortable.  It has like memory foam stuff in it and it is SO NICE.  Melanie and I bough twin bras.    Plus it's pretty!  It was $48.

I never made an entry about senior commitment, but I feel like I'll just copycat what everyone else said now.  LOL.  But, either way, it's how I feel too.  You all saw me bawling!  (However, I'm not as awesome as Kelly Pfister.  I had accidentally misplaced my candle and it melted a little on my dashboard on Monday.)  My sisters have been everything to me these last 4 years.  I'm so thankful for each and every one of you.  It's been the best part of college, and I wouldn't trade any of the minutes I've spent with you amazing women with anything else.  Don't worry, I'll still be around in the fall to visit when I can.

Which brings me to my next subject.  I got one of my student teaching assignments the other day.  The elementary one isn't finalized yet, but I'll be at Nixa High School choir for sure.  I think? that's a good program, so yay!  It's hard to believe I'm only one finals week away from being done with real classes.  Where did college go?

Wow, I'm really awesome...not

I can't find my planner and I didn't get a new one, so I'm forgetting things.

I keep forgetting to do homework assignments, and so I keep turning them in late.

I always keep forgetting important events.

I have senioritis really badly and I kinda don't care, so I'm working on this 'tude of mine.  This weekend is a no-play weekend, I've decided.  None whatsoever.  My room is a wreck, I need to practice, my e-Portfolio is not done, I have group projects to work on, and I have two makeup assignments to do.  And if at all possible, I am going to try my darndest to start studying for finals.  A little bit every day.  If you see me this weekend, PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME.

Yeah right, like that's gonna happen. 

P.S. please come to my recital if you're in the Springfield area on April 26 at 5pm.  I've been practicing really hard for it, and I think it's going to go really well.  I've honestly never felt to so blessed to be given the chance and voice to sing to those I care about, but I finally do, AND I'M EXCITED!
