Last weekend was damn good.
Coldplay was amazing...as usual.
Chris Martin commented on the
crowd's singing as "delicious and
nutritious." I also made a new
discovery. The Arcade Fire. Now,
now boys and girls... I know some of you
have already listened to these
geniuses, but for those who want
something new, taste this.

today was the first day
i've prayed in a long time.
i guess i mean... really prayed.
it's sad because when worst
comes to worst, we then look
to God. i feel helpless. i feel
selfish when i sit down to eat
a meal or to drink a bottle of
water. i can't complain.
i want to hold the babies and
comfort them. i have to
rememeber that there's help
coming for them...if i don't
think HOPE i'll probably go
crazy. insane. hold them jesus.
you're the only one who can.

-please say a prayer for jason's family in Louisiana.
eighty percent of his extended family lived there
and all of them have lost everything.
and also for my dear friend angela who has
lost her home and who's dad is there still.
and for the rest who are waiting for help tonight.-

the only people missing
last night were dave and
jen. both of you need to
move to austin.

it was a great happy
birthday time for bri
and matt. both crazy,
amazing, fun, hot,
and wonderful people.
that's why they go
good together.
after listening to a
crazy man play
guitar and sing songs
like free fallin' over
and over, bri and i
had to go outside...
it was killin' us. then
jason and i took the
mike and after that
we danced to more
"free fallin" type
songs. sam is a dancing
machine as well as
corey. (cough cough)

TO MATT AND BRI:

i love bri, i love matt
one time i stole matt's brown hat
bri and i danced all night
and all the guys said, "they're outta site!"
well, not really, i'm really bluffing
but we knew they thought that we were somethin'
yes, we all had only ONE drink...
of punch that is. wink wink.
