It's Groundhog Day!!

At least that's how I feel. Every day is essentially the same: get up early, study, brief the flight, fly for 3-4 hours, workout, eat and go to bed. Then get up and do it all over again. But at least I should be done in another 2 weeks or so...
Instrument flying is difficult because it consists of doing many simple tasks at the same time to close tolerances. It's kind of like threading a needle....on a pogo stick....while blindfolded....for three hours at a time. It's so hard it makes my ears hurt . But my instructor says I am progressing well so that's good to hear and I passed my progress test this week.
I am still praying a lot about what God would have me to do but now instead of no ideas, there seem to be several directions that God may be leading me. It's exciting to see him at work.

Well, that's about it for now~ Eric

Howdy!

Me & Ian Smith are doing an internship with Brian Denton & Shoreline Community Church. Brian is their "communications director" and we are working with him in their video department. We shoot and edit videos for sunday morning service, and other missions projects the church is involved in. They have two JVC GY-HD110   HD cameras that we use to film with. I am going to be posting more details about where we are at and what we are doing on my site.

Good to here about your progress in flight training!

Later,

I've heard instrument flying was hard but you described it better than most other people. Enjoy your lessons. : )

I want to learn to fly......

I have since I was little tiny.

On the video with that little girl Jane (pronounced Janie) she did very well at picking up on her lines quickly. but it still took several takes each time to nail it. We where not recording to tape, but a focus enhancements hard drive recorder. After I cut the video down into the useable takes, I had 97 video clips.  yeah. 97.  For 1:30 min. video!

It took awhile, to say the least. But it was great fun. :)

They should have gotten me to edit Mission Impossible, the movie. I mean, I just could have made the story move alot faster, you know? J/K.

Cool, hang in there Eric, God will direct you just keep your focus on what HE wants you to do and not get it confused with what you want to do.He'll open doors in His timing, that way it teaches us patience. Patience teaches us obedience, obedience shows our dependence on God. Press on brother!
