| | Pond Stars & Mi DaddyThanks to TV Smith, my dad and I got complimentary tickets to Frogway
the Musical yesterday. I for one, was happy to get out of the house.
The whole musical was vibrant with colour. The band was superb. The
cast & crew did a great job, and the costumes were fantastic as
well. My dad had a great time & we both agree that Chelsia Ng who
played Shirly the Frogette stole the show.
*edited to add - I didn't get a chance to buy a Frogway T-Shirt because
being me I had forgotten to bring more cash. Thanks to Sulekha however
(who went the next night to support her cousin Ash Nair/Freddie The
Toad) "I AM A POND STAR."
Haven't tried the shirt on yet, it's a humongous(?) Size S, but when I
do I'll make sure to take pictures, just to satisfy myself. hahaha.
My dad didn't have his
usual after-dinner coffee, so our group headed down to Coffee Bean. at
11pm. Thanks to the iced tea that I had, I slept at 5am (tossing and
turning). Anyway, peak of the whole thing was that 15 minutes after
midnight, I wished my dad a Happy Birthday, making ME the very first person to wish him *grin*.
but even so, I shall wish him again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PA!
