I was watching Extreme Home Makeover last night with my dad, one of those lazy Sunday things that I do with him. The show is a little boring, and sometimes stupid, but the principle and idea behind the show are great.

The show was about a family where the mom was the only one that could see and hear. The dad was blind, the grandmother was blind, the two sisters where going blind and could only see details if they were about two inches from the object, and the brother was deaf.

It showed me how ungrateful I am, and how I take so much for granted. I can see, hear, smell, touch, walk, talk, run, and think. These might seem "small" but without them I would be lost. The girls on the show were so grateful for the small vision that they had, and they had such joy. The family could not all talk to each other, but they all were grateful for what they had. Why don't we have such joy for the great blessings that God has given us so freely? We need to thank God for EVERYTHING, not just the "extras."

I know I never update, but this was something that I thought was Update worthy!

Just because I changed my xanga, does not mean that I will regularly post. So, therefore I will post now and forever hold my peace, until I want to post again! :)

Hey! Everyone! Well so far so good! We got back from the north last night after an 18-hour drive from the north! I was going crazy with their music blasting in the bus even though we were the ones paying for it! I was sick for part of the trip but I am okay now but it was really tough there for a while! I have so much to tell you! I miss y'all so so so so much and I was so happy to read your comments on the xanga! I'm so happy you like the lanterns and tell Wes that I'm also glad he likes them!

Now for a little history! We arrived in Ghana on Friday night and the next morning we just hung in Ghana for the whole day! The next day we started to which would end up being a 16 hour bus ride!!! My poor tumy wumy hurt for about 5 hrs of that trip! The next day we went to a croc pond and a slave camp! It was not worth the almost 9hr trip!!!!! I got sick on that trip and I was miserable, but God taught me a lot the next few days! I staid at the hotel the next day because I did not feel well! The trip was hard, but it was a good trip! At night we did the Jesus film, it always took 2 nights because the first night was the introduction to everyone and their dogs, then praise and worship, and then a message! The second night is when we actually watch the movie! Shelly Bennett and I were thinking and we think that we will have spent at least 1/4 of the entire trip in the bus, if not more! We spent about 8 hours a day in the bus!!! But it was worth it considering that these people have not heard the word of God and are a un-reached people! I will tell you everything when I get back, but that is a brief history! The spelling and grammar is crap so O-WELL! G2G!

Love y'all and cannot wait to get back!

Off To Ghana! We are going to fly KLM  (Royal Dutch Airlines) AKA (Royal Crap Airlines) Where you don’t know if the flight attendants are male or female, because they all march around like solders and scream, (wake you up) to find out  weather you want breakfast or not? It will be a long trip but well worth the pain and torment (caused by the cross dressers!) J We will leave around 1:00pm tomorrow and we will get there Saturday evening. I will probably go to the north for the first few days so I will not be able to email or xanga till I get back to Accra. Well I will see y’all later and please pray for all of us going and the people of Ghana! Bye! (Spelling)

Isaiah 40:31

    but those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
       they will run and not grow weary,
       they will walk and not be faint.
