A while back when I first moved to Lubbock TX I did a story about how many local sexual offenders lived with in 5 miles of my moderately swanky apartment.  (I lived across the street from starbucks and had a golfcourse in my back yard).

I posted my findings here in my typical irreverent style of humor.  In that vain I present you this...

Hey maybe your thinking maybe she in on a white colar crime right? Stold a few thousand from the nsurance company or heck even the cable company. No one likes the cable company after all.  No this fine example is serving time for murder. In her profile it states that she is single widower. Why because Susan Wright stabbed her husband 193 times. What way to put yourself back on the market then to literaly get rid of the EX.

Sweet Home.... Rockford?

After a four year hiatus in Texas, AKA pharmacy school, I am now back in Rockford and have found things much changed and not very familiar.  It’s a combination of the fact that I have changed during my 7 years of college/grad school and of "home" changing. 

I start work at OSF on the 5th of June which should be a trip since I have never actually worked at a hospital before.  Sure I've rounded with the internal med and oncology teams for 12 weeks and spent 6 weeks working in the SICU at University Medical Center...... but I never actual worked IN the pharmacy.  I was always up on the floor or ER with the MS4, and senior resident working up patients before rounds or with the entire team during rounds. 

Heck my advanced hospital rotation was out a Montford Prison where I basically rounded with the Nurse Practitioners and worked as a mini P&T committee getting Invanz on the Texas Department of Correctional Justice formulary.  I spent very LITTLE time in the pharmacy.

Yes so I am a little trepidation.

In more exciting news I continue to be AMPED about coaching Football at Jefferson. We had our formal coaching staff introductions on Thursday with the kids.  I’ve been around the team and working with some of the players for a little when I was home for Christmas and spring break.  Now that I am in Rockford full time I’ll be able to work with the kids more closely. 

Is it crazy that I am more excited about being a varsity O-line coach then I am about being a Doctor of Pharmacy at OSF?    

I'm alive I swear. :)

How bout that five blade battery powered straight razzor from Gilet?  And everyone thought I was kidding two years ago when I predicted it... :)
