im probably stupid, but it just struck me how scary it is, to have the potential to do something.
not the will, but the sheer potential..
i could kill a human being. not that i would, but i have the potential to do so.
anything could change my mind into one that would kill. but.. the fact is that i can do it.
the potential to stab someone right now.
however, i.. dont think i can say i have the potential to commit suicide.. something in me will stop me from doing that. i can't see myself stabbing myself, ever. im a wimp, and i know it. i dont think i have the ability to commit suicide, i dont have the potential for doing that, because as a person, i know i cant. its something beyond my capabilities. everything else however.. i can. shoplifting is not something i just cannot do, because i can see myself doing it for whatever reason -beit a dare-, but i know i wouldnt regret doing it for the remainder of my life.
its really a scary thing.
i dunno why it frightens me so much right now.
i think, cause the summers here, and i've got too much time on my hands-- much too much time to just think about things; regret, or rekindle some distant anger or sadness in my overthinking..
