  •  So, I finally did it.  I made my mother cry, but I love it.  I think it is perfect for me: placement, design, style.

I am almost finished with the semester!!  One more final and a paper to turn in by 8 Thursday night.  I should have the paper finished tomorrow.  I'm writing over the social issues in the movie Philadelphia for my Social Welfare class.  Then first thing Thursday morning, I have my Lifespan:  Growth and Development final.  That was my favorite class this semester and I'm not worried about it.  Last I knew, I ranked fourth in the class and I have only made one B (on the hardest test all semester).  I'm going to get some sleep though tonight and sleep in some tomorrow.  I was up last night (pretty late) getting everything finished for my final critique in Painting III today.  The one that I literally just threw together and didn't like very much ended up being the one that everyone thought was great.  Apparently, I captured the essence of Baytown and the smudges (that I hated) were a great touch.  How ironic!
Well, good night and much love!

  • Dancing with the Moon

    Holy, You are still holy
Even when the darkness surrounds my life
    Sovereign, You are still sovereign
Even when confusion has blinded my eyes

Lord, I don't deserve Your kind affection
When my unbelief has kept me from Your touch
I want my life to be a pure reflection
    Of Your love

And so I come into Your chamber
And I dance at Your feet, Lord
    You are my Saviour
    And I'm at Your mercy
All that has been in my life
    Up 'til now
    It belongs to You
    You are still holy

    Holy, You are still holy
Even though I don't understand Your ways
    Sovereign, You will be sovereign
Even when my circumstances don't change

Lord, I don't deserve your tender patience
When my unbelief has kept me from Your truth
I want my life to be a sweet devotion
    To You

And so I come into Your chamber
And I dance at Your feet, Lord
    You are my Saviour
    And I'm at Your mercy
All that has been in my life
    Up 'til now
    It belongs to You

    I belong to You

And so I come into Your chamber
And I dance at Your feet, Lord
    You are my Saviour
    And I'm at Your mercy
All that has been in my life
    Up 'til now
    It belongs to You
    I belong to You

    You are still holy
    You are still sovereign
    You are still holy, Lord
    You are still righteous
    You are all-knowing

    You are still holy

  • Sooooooo, if a guy asks you to go to the Mucky Duck with him, says he'll pick you up and drop you off, and says that if you can't go he can get someone else but you were his first choice, is it right to assume that it is a date?
Is it alright for me to straight out ask his intentions?
And, if it is a date, how to I let him down gently?
This is a really awkward situation.  I don't know what to do.
