Well, the time has finally come. I'm updating. I know, I know.... I should have done it weeks and weeks and weeks ago. I was pretty much stalling, hoping that the apocolypse would happen soon so I wouldn't have to update this thing. But no luck. Anyway, I just thought I'd share some visuals of my summer. So please enjoy these photos... at least for the next couple of months. Because there's a good chance I won't be updating again too soon. | Yes, I have been very lazy and unattentive towards xanga lately...please forgive me! I am in Wilmington, NC right now, basically eating a lot of cool stuff! (My latest sustenance was Ritz crackers and crab dip!!!!!)
Anyway, I really dont have anything deep to post, yet again, but I would like to share something amusing. My friend and I just watched the World Cup Final, between Italy and France, and Italy won. I was hoping for a different turnout, but that's life I guess. So it's in overtime.... the classic veteran player for Frane, named Zidane, has already scored a goal for his team.... this is his very last game before he retires.... so things are looking pretty upbeat for his sendoff/retirement. But not for long. In a sudden absence of mind, he gets into a minute argument with an Italian player over something undoubtedly trivial, and headbutts the guy!!! I repeat, HEADBUTTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Square in the chest!!!!!!!!! My friend and I almost spontaniously combusted we were laughing so hard. So anyway, the Italian guy fell over backward, attracting the attention of the referee, and he gave Zidane a red card. Heh. What a way to end your career!

| Well hello volken... (I think that means "people" in German.....) I am currently in Berlin, Germany, at an internet cafe which is directly over Dunkin Doughnuts (heck yeah). I will be highly brief in writing this, as I have like 5 minutes left on the computer... my dad and I just experienced World Cup soccer first-hand last night! We watched Brazil play Croatia, and Brazil won 1-0. I was kinda hoping Croatia would win though... I mean, I like Brazil, but I'm getting tired of them winning all the time, if you know what I mean. Ukraine all the way baby!!!! In fact Ukraine plays Spain this afternoon, and it should be a great game! Okay, I gotta go, so love and treat each other like uncles! | | |
