| i love to get wet even when my mommy told me not to...robert james spent all his time today doing whatever he could to avoid looking at all the animals. here was his all-time favorite activity... the anticipation of the squirting water was most of the fun... we never knew when or where it was coming up- that's what robert james loved the most, too...

| whoever thought we'd end up here?I'm sure the animals we saw today were all wondering, what did i do to end up here? that's right... a fun, family day at the zoo. heidy, daniel and daniel's dad (we still aren't sure what to call him) went to the zoo today, courtesy of my employer. robert james rode his very first roller coaster- granted, it was no "beast," but it was a decent coaster. he absolutely loved it and begged to go on it again and again. we also rode the carousel.  jon was really really good all day. he got a new hat that says indianapolis zoo. it was perfect b/c he couldn't take it off. it had a little velcro strap- SO CUTE.  and even though robert james had all the animals to look at, his favorite thing at the zoo was the playground. he had this little speaker, tube thing that went underground the entire length of the playground and he and his daddy were shouting, "hey boo boo! how's about a pic-a-nic basket?" (if you've heard the dialogue, you know what i'm talking about. it's really funny.)  i'll leave you with the best picture of the day. it helps me to remember how we should truly view our days of rest and relaxation. God gives us sleep and relaxation to bless us. ( I heard on the christian radio station's women's hour that "sleep is spiritual.") anyhow, this little animal truly helped me to remember how to relax- even if i look ridiculous... or lewd...

| look how nicely Robert James shares with his little bro...This is the first time you've all seen the little one pull up to stand. Let me tell you, Jon has figured out how to get to just about anything his little heart pleases. he's much harder to corral than robert james ever was. he's a little beef cake. pretty soon, jon will be able to snag those veggietale mats away from his big brother with ease! |

| too many rjs in my house!i gave little rj an ultimatum today. i told him i was tired of all the rj confusion in my home and tired of always having to clarify "big rj" from "little rj." my nightmare! anyhow, here's a little video of what "little rj" has instructed us all to call him.
