Name: Nick Country: United States State: Idaho Metro: Boise Birthday: 12/11/1985 Gender: Male
Interests: Playing music, listening to music, writing music...I should probably be a music major, but I like money too much for that...instead I'm a production major, so that I can make millions of dollars on producing and selling records for other musicians. Actually, probably only thousands of dollars, since I want to start my own indie label, which would require low overhead, little advertising, and lots of time without much help. But dammit, it's about the music, right? In any case, it's a better job than yours. Expertise: Pure, unadulterated bullshit. Occupation: Student Industry: Media

| Get your fix, with Win386Ah man. It's videos like these that make me grateful for my parents' decision to use an Apple Macintosh back in the early days of personal computing. I mean, just look at that interface! And wait for the 7-minute mark. Really. It's worth it.

| Radiohead Marching? This is quite possibly the coolest marching band show I've ever seen. Go Omega!
It's the University of Arizona Wildcat Band doing "Airbag" from Radiohead's OK Computer album. Awesome!!
Edit: Link killed for my own sanity.

| When I feel alive, I try to imagine a careless life...As the song goes...you gotta get up to get down.
That is absolutely how I feel -- every time I get ahead a little, something else comes up to drag me back. I'm making progress toward my degree, but it's slowly killing me. Romance is tearing me away from my friends. School is tearing me away from romance. And where does my family fit in all this? 500 miles away, accessible only on (some) holidays.
Why can't things coexist peacefully anymore?
| A Passing Feeling...Every once in a while, you come across something that leaves you more than a little bit unsettled. One of the pieces of literature that is very important to Fraternity lore is "Invictus" by William Ernest Henry. The last line of this poem, which reads "I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul." were the last words by Timothy McVeigh -- the man who masterminded the Oklahoma City bombing.
Bastard. Ruining my day from the grave.
