Last Night

Last night we watched some scary movies at Audrey's house, and it was pretty sweet. We watched Halloween, part of The Nightmare on Elm Street, and most of Red Dragon. It was lots of fun. Almost as much fun as the afterparty last weekend which was the most fun I've had in my a long time if not my whole life. And on a side note, I agree with Zach. People need to stop leaving Xanga for other sites.

Well I haven't updated in like a month so here goes:

  • Jekyll and Hyde is going great. It is really coming together nicely. I am proud of seniors cause they gave a great speech the other day. I learned how to die today. Yay!!!!! Can't wait till shows and competition. I really want to ask if we can take it to Thes. Con. cause that would be sweet.
  • Going to homecoming with theater people in a group of about 25 people which should be mucho fun. And we get to eat at Cafe tu tu Tango, which I haven't tried yet so that will be an experience. And after party at Sawyer's which are always fun, and will include yummy snacks.
  • Brookwood Football team is doing kinda bad. 1-2, but they should beat Shiloh this weekend.
  • Our band show is sweet that we actually get to play recognizable music.
  • Have orange suit jacket for homecoming which is sweet.
  • I love every one of my friends for making my birthday party(about a month ago) on of the funnest times in a long time.
  • The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is the weirdest musical of all time.
  • Everyone must come see Jekyll and Hyde on October 18, 19, and 21. Participation is mandatory.(not really, but come anyways)

I guess that's it. Give me a few minutes some time, and tell me what's going on in your life.

And when I thought the Lindahls couldn't be any more kickass, Mrs. lindahl gave the best motivatinal speech ever today. I was extremely excited, and am now proud of the Lindahls, and can't wait til competition.

On a side note, I forgot to turn on my phone afterschool for my mom today, so I have no phone for at least a week, but probably more. So that kinda sucks.

But still....... 3 day weekend=AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope to see some people tomorrow at the dome. Visit me in the band section. It could be fun.

While it's been a long time since my last entry, and so this may ramble a bit.
First, I guess I had a pretty good first wo weeks of school. Bad news: Got Mrs. Atwell's one class, instead of Cling, and know very few people in my lunch. Good news: know at least one person in all of my classes, and am making many friends quickly, love the theater class as usual, and this:

Jekyll & Hyde Cast List

Gabriel John Utterson………………………..Nick Gordon
Sir Danvers Carew………………..……….…...Joey Logan
Henry Jekyll/Mr. Hyde…………………….…..Ben Thorpe
Simon Stride………………………….…….......…Lim Savang
Lady Beaconsfield……………....………Amanda Hoffman
The Bishop of Basingstoke………Perry Rosenbaum
Lord Savage……………………………..….......Curt Weiler
General Lord Glossop…………………...…Hudson Lewis
Sir Archibald Proops……………………..…Kyle Nackers
Emma Carew………………………….......Audrey Beauchamp
Lucy Harris…………………………….....Sawyer Armstrong
Nellie, A Prostitute………………….….Marie Agnello
Spider, A Pimp…………………….…..……....Zach Hilbun
Poole, A Manservant……………….……...Tyler Maltos
Bisset, Apothecary…………………….…...…Trevor Baum
Wedding Priest………………………...…...Nick Buchanan
Bring on the Men Dancers……. Danielle Bramson,
Chelsea Belcastro, Ali Griswold, Cicilia Kim,
& Regan Loggans
People of London:……………….Jillian Abraham
.Amelia Blanton, Ryan Bynum, Rachel Cook,
Jamie Donaldson, Kaitlin Gilman

This is good because a lot of the people that I love in that class got leads/great supporting roles. Audrey finally got her lead!!!!!! And Sawyer too!!!!!!!!!!! And Ben will do a great job as Jekyll/Hyde. Zach got Spider, Kyle got Proops, Marie got Nellie, Lim got Stride, and I got lord Savage, which is actually a kind of big part.Everyone needs to come see it.
I hope that by the end of the year I can know everyone in musical theater on a personal level. I know that it sounds corny, but it's a goal.
Unfortunately, i forgot how long band practice drags on on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But I guess it ends eventually and live goes on(thank god).

Running out of things to say, so i'll end like I do most weekend entries: i've got nothing going on, so we should see a movie, go swimming, etc. i will be bored.

It's Official

Now it's finally official. For those of you who didn't know, at the BPAB meeting last night, they announced that Jekyll and Hyde is the fall musical.

Overall, I am pretty excited because i've listened to the music, and it's great. And this may be my only chance to do a true drama, so I'm looking forward to it.

Extra note: We are doing it around Halloween instead of December because it is kind of Halloweenie? Idk
