another 8 months away from this xanga thing...maybe.

  • Melting

That's all I feel my body is doing under the hot summer sun. I find myself driving to work ten minutes early just to take the only shaded spot in the parking lot. Like a vampire who sees its nemesis, the sun, I flee in horror when I step into the light of the glowing tyrant. I can only count the days until Autumn's winds push you away.

I posted those art pieces in the photostrip of my page. * Don't laugh too much.

  • Art

These last three weeks in the art class have been a lot of fun. I really am enjoying the relaxing-low stress enviroment that art can give you. I have been using mostly photo shop 5.0 up to this point of the class. Next week we will be using Bryce 6.0. Maybe then I'll figure out the difference between a vector and a raster. I'll try to post some of my "art" pieces. They aren't great, but I'm proud of them.

  • <According to the statement, Olmert said Israel was interested in peace with Syria: "Israel does not want war with Syria. We must avoid miscalculations that are liable to lead to a security deterioration." Olmert added that Israel is using various diplomatic channels to deliver this message to Syria. CNN's Shira Medding and Nidal Rafa contributed to this report. I just stole it from them>

The communication we form with other international players does not weaken or undermine our status. It gives a chance to speak to one another and hear one anothers plight. Peace. That is what every household that voted for a leader hopes for. Even the historical talks between our American ambassador to Iran and Iran's ambassador were a step forward. Even if nothing really got accomplished, and neither party was willing to budge. Let's continue to talk, heck i'll invite North Korea's leader to a cup of coffee, if it was even possible. He would probably keep his shades on, even while inside the Starbucks.

  • My skin is red, my legs are fatigued, and if I smell another taco this week I am going to die. Two days of volunteering at the Mexican Food Festival, "Little Mexico 2007," was a blast but my body paid the price. I googled Little Mexico 2007 and a ton of matches came up, I guess it wasn't so unique of an event. If one wanted to purchase some food they first had to exchange the US currency for some cheap rip off of Monopoly money mixed with Mexican Peso currency. There were even pony rides around the parking lot of this place. The whole event went on without a hitch, which really suprised me. Usually there's a fight or two when these things take place.
