| so i decided to update... again...even though absolutely nothing interesting is going on...
this weekend was fairly fun... friday we just kind of lounged around the chi alpha house and were acting crazy. then that night we stayed at ashley's apartment... saturday we went to monroe and stood in intersections asking for money for our africa trip. we made about $600 (so now its only $9,900 that we need before the end of may for our tickets...) then amanda and i crashed in bri's room for about 3 1/2 hours. then sarah and i went back to ashleys and spent the night there. sunday morning we woke up and went to sarah henry's church in el dorado arkansas. it was fun.
aaaaand now im supposed to be studying, but i don't want to. im soooo lazy and ready for the quarter to be over! only like 4 weeks left i believe! hooray.

| so i decided to update......before i forgot. even though theres nothing interesting really...
so this week was a nice break from last week. last week i had three tests, a quiz, and a lab and i was about to pull all my hair out. but that wouldn't have been pretty now would it? this week i didnt have much to do so it was nice. i turned in my paper and interviews for the 2nd chi alpha class today and its over. only one more to go... courtneys sick :(
im so ready for this weekend... tomorrow im going home and maybe getting my hair cut (see im getting it cut sometime this weekend but i was going to call and see when she had a free spot so kelli and i could go together i just havent called yet... but dont tell kelli...) and then tomorrow night i am going to the shreveport bcm hayride. should be tons of fun and im excited. saturday i plan to sleep in because im so exhausted emotionally and physically. then after that i will eat lunch with my great aunt and great uncle. probably lounge around with kelli and megan the rest of saturday. and then saturday night is MONSTERS INC ON ICE (with miranda, giselle, megan, and maybe kelli i havent asked her yet, but she should go too!) woo hoo! ive never been to anything on ice before just because i didnt think i would like it but this seems like it will be cool and im excited. then sunday is the church house... im just ready to relax
so lately ive learned i have horrible time management skills. so this week i made a tentative schedule and wrote a list of things i needed to accomplish. it wasnt stuck to as well as it should have been, but overall it did help and so thats good.
well thats my thoughts in a nutshell at the moment... hope everyone is having a splendid week!

| so maybe i will try this whole updating thing now that im at college again...
this week has been insanely full...
monday- moved into the dorms. wow was ours dirty. and ghetto...
tuesday- uhh dont really remember that much. except we had to relabel 3000 fliers because they changed a date...
wednesday- hung out and then had chicken pot pie and watched r.v. oh, and met some cool new people.
thursday- first day off classes. i had brit. lit. it was alright. the teacher is definitely an english NUT. then, went to fusion that night. it was a campus wide worship service/lesson thing. it was pretty cool.
friday- had biology 101 and fcs 100 marriage and relationship skills. haha should be interesting classes. then, had back to school bash that night. grilled hotdogs and hamburgers and met a few new people. interesting, but stressful.
saturday (today)- woke up at 10 because courtney couldnt sleep anymore. ate breakfast and chilled till we left for the boardwalk. we saw the illusionist. although its not the movie we were thinking, it was pretty good.
now im sitting here online while i should be going to sleep because im so dang tired.
tomorrow (sunday)- i am visiting crossroads. it should be interesting. then we are going to the lake tomorrow night for some ultimate frisbee.
monday (the next day...)- class again and then that night we rented the nat (natatorium aka techs pool) for a pool party. im not much for pool parties, but hopefully it will bring excitement.
and tuesday- we are ending our week long of exciting events with our service.
its been an interesting first week so far. its nice to be back in ruston and enjoying things. i am totally worn out from all the work this week though and havent caught up on any sleep this weekend. i suppose thats what the afternoons shall consist of this next week. i hope all your weeks were fantastic.
oh, and everyone should be shocked and amazed. because i mean holy cow i just updated... and not only did i update, it was long. boring, but long. anyways. i need sleep. goodnight all.

| so i just cant get back into the habbit of updating xanga. way too much has gone on since the last update. the key thing is probably cornerstone. it was fabulous. work is boring these days but hopefully only a month left!! vbs is this week. oh and we get to go to a jewish synagogue. im excited about that... so thats about it with this boring update. gotta get back to work, but im still alive... | | |
