The Schizophrenic Squirrel

I found this board generator online and decided to have a little fun with it.  So here is a conversation between two squirrels...or is it one squirrel?

The Cricket Who Sacrificed His Life to Teach Me

Monday morning I woke up and went straight in to my workout routine with Bob from the Biggest Loser.  I put on my socks and my running shoes.  When I put the shoes on, I notice that there was a fold in my sock (or so I thought).  I thought nothing of it and went into my workout filled with jumping jacks and a number of other aerobic activities.

Not wanting to subject anyone to my stench at the office, I went to the bedroom to take a shower.  It was then that I realized the lump in my sock was not a problem with my sock.  The lump was actually a giant cricket (or at least the forensic science indicated that it was).  There was not a whole lot left of the poor guy, except for a broken leg and a grease spot (sorry for the graphic image).

This whole experience got me thinking.  What if hell were like getting caught underneath my foot in a closed environment right before an eternal series of jumping jacks were to take place on my head?  I've determined that I would not like to be in that cricket's place.

So, as I write this brief story, I would like to thank the cricket who sacrificed his life so that I could be reminded of the joy of my salvation.

Awesome Story

If you haven't seen or heard about this story, you gotta click on the link below.  It's about a boy with autism who finally got a chance to play in a basketball game his senior year in the last game because of everything he had done for the team and the coaches.  As you will see, he made the most of his opportunity.
