"These times, they are a-changin'.... "

Wow. Well, my parents arrived home a couple days ago at around midnight with the new baby sister. Ah, it was amazing to finally have here at home! Anyways, I have a couple tests this week, so here are a few pictures from my computer, though, I know Tommy and Bryce have uploaded some more....

She was rather entertained by the glowing picture machine...

And the crazy, distorted photos were quite a hit....

Hopefully, I can get a few of the good ones we have taken. Ah, man, I guess I should put a camera on my list of things I need when I become rich.....

Oh, and I also found out she likes the Beatles apparently.....

"So many people have come and gone..."

Wow,

It is indeed hard to imagine how quickly time seems to fly by, since it was only a year ago that I was starting out on a whole new journey. Well, surprise of all surprises,  with a year gone I find myself starting down a new road as well as coming to many crossroads.

I know my New Year's post is rather late, however, I figured instead of ditching it completely I would try and revive some of it.  So, I guess a quick summery of 2007:

~2007~
- Interned with TeenPact (10 different classes and NC to boot)
- End of Season Retreat at the Lake House (maybe hoping to add "First Annual" to that)
- Second Mission Trip to Haiti (Yet another life-changer)
- Trip to Chicago, Michigan, and Indiana (Mhhhhhh, whatcha say?)
- Full Time School (College, always lurking)
- Football (Pretty much the hottest thing since fire)
- New Car! (Heck yes! Jim the Jeep is pretty schway)
- Great Christmas
- Finally got all the stuff to get our new baby sister adopted (She comes next week!)
- New Year's at the B-tregs! (I am King of Practice Rounds)

It was indeed one of the best, most challenging, and overall most fulfilling period of life I have lived, however, there is much left to be seen. Yet, even now as I prepare for a new year and the changes that it will bring, I cannot help but think and ponder how amazing is our gift of life. With all of its trails, tears, sorrows, and suffering coupled with its laughter, smiles, joy, and happiness life is one of the most precious experiences and opportunities God has given us.

We have only a short time here, even though it seems these school semesters drag on forever. I imagine it is merely the passing of a year that causes this nostalgic feeling, yet, God has been moving in some interesting ways, and I imagine it will not be long before I begin to see the first step in the direction in wish He wants me to go. But until that time, here I will stay, ever striving after Him.

The (much) later date....

So, due to my lack of time I realy appreciate bullet points now, so, here is a fast run-down of the last 4 months...

>NC was fantastic and utterly amazing
>Debriefed in SC for a couple days
>Road tripped to FL (only missed one turn *coughPaulcough*)
>Freaked Jonathan Morris out (sorry 'bout that buddy, i would have never really thrown Fofo out the window)
>Spent the single most amazing week of my life at our Lake House
>Worked
>Went to Chicago and then to UP of Michigan for 10 days
>Hooked up with Kelly G. at the awesome Bontreger house for a weekish
>Picked out the worst movie I have ever seen in my life (yarfs at thought)
>Got stuck overnight (6 of 7)
>Got to see The Beav and Jaywad. :)
>Worked at home
