VERSE OF THE WEEK

ROMANS 8:24b-25 But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Last night I was thinkin about my situation with work and just everyone else's problems and situations and thought..."I wish I could just fast forward to the end so I know what will happen."  And when I prayed and thought about that I came to this one conclusion...IT WON'T HELP TO KNOW THE FUTURE.

For example...If you are watching a movie, whether it would be a drama or action movie and didn't watch the movie but the end.  You will see that either the guy and the girl will be together or the action hero will be standing there victorious.  If we don't see the beginning of the movie then we would not understand or see the obstacles that the guy took to get the girl or how many foes the action hero had to take in order to survive.  What we fail to realize is that it is not only the ending that matters, but the journey.  How each obstacle...each circumstance teaches us and brings us closer to God.  Now I don't know if you are a christian or not, but what I know is this...Is that God has gave me more than I could ever have dreamed or deserve.

So I would encourage you...when you feel like fast forwarding your life...remember...it is your walk with God right now that will shape your future.  If there is a problem that is too big that you can't handle...God is there.  Bring it to Him.  If you need prayer I am more than willing to pray for you.  God bless.  And  the ending does matter as well.

Hello.  It's been a long time since I last posted on here.  Well...things have been both crazy and good for me.  I am currently in Oregon, but I am leaving back to Cali. soon for a few days.  One thing that I am learning lately is to TRUST in God.  To truly commit all things to Him and to wait upon His answers for everything.  One thing that I am truly thankful for is how God is always there for us and how He is always teaching us things.  It's interesting...the more I pray and ask God for my whole life, the more problems I seem to have.  Sorta like Job, but then I know at the end God will be victorious...He is victorious and He is there for us.  My encouragement to you all is to continue to pursue Him.  He is good.  He is always there to lift you up when you are weak or down.  Anyway I hope your past days is well.  I pray that everyone I know would continue to pursue Him no matter what circumstance.  Anyway I have to go.  God bless you all and have a good night.  and weekend.

Ok...I have a short time on so I wanted to post something really quick.  Tomorrow, we are leaving for a week.  So I won`t be able to post anything for a while.  And if you are wondering why I have that as my profile pic...it is because I had it on self-timer and it fell off fence and I ran to it really quickly and it took my pic.  So yeah...It wasn`t really planned...anyway I have to go.  I hope all is well.  Keep pursuing God everyone.  He is sooo good and awesome and deserves all praise and glory and honor...He deserves our lives and hearts.  There is no better place to give your life to then God.    God bless and good night.

Hey everyone...I don`t have much to say but this little part from my devotional written by Charles Spurgeon.  I hope it encourages you.  It`s 1:30 a.m. so I have to go to bed.  Anyway I`ll TTYL.  Good night and God bless.

"He humbled himself."
Philippians 2:8

Jesus is the great teacher of lowliness of heart. We need daily to learn of him. See the Master taking a towel and washing his disciples' feet! Follower of Christ, wilt thou not humble thyself? See him as the Servant of servants, and surely thou canst not be proud! Is not this sentence the compendium of his biography, "He humbled himself"? Was he not on earth always stripping off first one robe of honour and then another, till, naked, he was fastened to the cross, and there did he not empty out his inmost self, pouring out his life-blood, giving up for all of us, till they laid him penniless in a borrowed grave? How low was our dear Redeemer brought! How then can we be proud? Stand at the foot of the cross, and count the purple drops by which you have been cleansed; see the thorn-crown; mark his scourged shoulders, still gushing with encrimsoned rills; see hands and feet given up to the rough iron, and his whole self to mockery and scorn; see the bitterness, and the pangs, and the throes of inward grief, showing themselves in his outward frame; hear the thrilling shriek, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" And if you do not lie prostrate on the ground before that cross, you have never seen it: if you are not humbled in the presence of Jesus, you do not know him. You were so lost that nothing could save you but the sacrifice of God's only begotten. Think of that, and as Jesus stooped for you, bow yourself in lowliness at his feet. A sense of Christ's amazing love to us has a greater tendency to humble us than even a consciousness of our own guilt. May the Lord bring us in contemplation to Calvary, then our position will no longer be that of the pompous man of pride, but we shall take the humble place of one who loves much because much has been forgiven him. Pride cannot live beneath the cross. Let us sit there and learn our lesson, and then rise and carry it into practice.

P.S....sorry for the old english...I don`t have time to update the language right now.    Maybe later
