Poli Sci = teh win! We totally got to compose an opera on Russian politics in transition. Based totally on Dschingis Khan's amazing song "Moskau". Yes, we are just that cool. And I was the narrator with a terrible Russian accent. And OMG! MC Weztern Powerz in da hizzouse y'all! *ah, Poli Sci insiders*

And MUN! Oh Model YOU ENN!!! I was totally Nigeria on General Assembly this weekend. So much fun, I spoke so many times. Especially since 2 of the 3 topics were on Africa.

| So guess what? This has been to date the worst holiday ever! They might as well have not let us off school...I'm stuck doing 5 hours of exam preparation every day (yes, every day), my parents are constantly on my back telling me of how horrible I am and how I will never go anywhere in life (particularly my dad, who insists every time that my head is full of bullshit because, horror of all horrors I don't want to go into engineering and I am therefore an insult to my race!!!), my weight keeps increasing. I never got around to planning anything with Olwen. I called her and found out she's in the hospital...because of her depression. I'm really really afraid that it may be in part my fault for failing to get together with her. I know it sounds really really absurd, but these days I've just been incredibly paranoid. Also, it seems as though all my friends have been invited to a party...save for me. So that leaves me all alone tonight to spend New Year's Eve with my parents...whoop di fucking doo! I think I might just go to bed early, maybe get drunk first...2005 was a shit year anyway. | | |

| Yes...so I got 'tagged'...alright so here are 5 things, interesting or otherwise, about moi...
1. Right now I am nowhere in particular... I am in a Schroedinger-esque state of suspension. Did I also mention that I love to sound pretentious when I am in fact full of shit?
2. I have a (maybe not so) secret hobby of electronic music making. Yes I know Olwen knows about this, but nobody has heard everything I do...especially with all the new instruments I've downloaded...such as trying to replicate a certain tune or trying to make my synthesizer sound like an accordion. Having 13 years worth of music knowledge and experience helps loads...
3. I speak 3 languages - English, French and Spanish (though, contrary to what some believe, I have zero Latina blood in me). And I'm attempting to teach myself German and Hindi...so far it seems German's easier to learn (Roman script...).
4. I have (somewhat) extensive knowledge in the following areas: Post-USSR Armenia, the 1857 Indian Mutiny, botany (grades 6 to 7...Olwen might remember this one!), the works of Franz Kafka (English class...)....among other random areas.
5. I have become officially recognized among my friends as the purveyor of fine crazy, random, usually techno music. (examples of some songs I've introduced to my group: Numa Numa, Llama song, Fish Heads, Dayem Doum *actually that was with Amy*, Gema Tanzen, etc etc etc...)
One more: I should be studying for my AP chem exam right now, as I am more than sucking in that class at the moment...

| - Spacelab Hello Xanga. After eighty-eight-thousand eternities on end of alien abductions and questionable encounters with armadillos...I am back! Now dance, dammit!!!
Yes I am going craaaaaazy. That's what advanced chemistry does to you. The course itself isn't so bad, but all the homework is t3h 3vi1. And because of that I'm not quite doing so well in the course (my teacher's sympathetic and hasn't kicked me out yet though). But I am kicking ass in my other courses...94% average in Social so far! w00t!
I have a debate tomorrow! It's on Churchill's opposition to India's independance. Should be fun, I haven't debated in almost a year...hope all goes well. I'm still preparing a case though...and it shall be hard, seeing as how I need to have shitloads of historical facts on hand in order to win...o_O
Anywhooo kangarooooo I guess, uhm, that's it for this quick little entry! Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with news from the debate!
