Wow its been so long since i've been on here!! So I thought tonight would be a good time to update and talk about what i've been up to for the past year. This year has been filled with so much drama and heartache, but somehow i managed to get through it all in one piece. It was a year of new learning experiences, frustrations, new found feelings and fears. In some ways, I feel like I have really changed this year, but in other ways I still feel like the same old person who is still unsure of what she wants in life and how to cope with new challenges and obstacles. In many ways this year, I came out of my shell and tried new things that i never would have imagined myself doing and sticking up for myself and not backing down to ppl who felt the need to walk all over me.  It was a good year, but probally one of the roughest years of high school I've had so far.  I'm just glad that it's over and that I only have one more year left.

So now summer is here with new challenges and possibilities. Hopefully I'll be working soon; Amber is working at McDonald's and she is trying to get me on there, so we'll see how that goes. I'm also starting drivers ed after what seems like forever, but I should fly through it since I've been driving for two years now with temps. The best part of my summer will be when I go to Boston, I've always wanted to go there because I heard the scenery just takes your breath away and the history there is just phenominal. I can't wait to go, I bet it will be a lot of fun!! So that's what has been happening with me, and hopefully I'll be able to write more on here, since school is out and everything isn't so hectic.

We had a really good Thanksgiving this year. Every year we go down to my aunt and uncles house to spent Thanksgiving with them. They live way out in the middle of no where in Adams County.....it's really close to the Ohio River. We got there wednesday night and just lounged around and talked until it was time for all of us to go to bed, so that we would be rested for the big day. Thursday I woke up to the smell of yeast rolls and it made my mouth water just to smell their delicious aroma. We ate a quick breakfast and then we got busy preparing things to take over to my aunts in-laws where we all go to spend Thanksgiving. So when we finally got the deviled eggs, the sweet potatos, and yeast rolls made we all headed over there at noon to go eat. So we got in the car and went up the hill to their house. As we walked in the door, everyone was bustling around to get ready and the sound of childrens voices could be heard playing and giggling. When everything was finally ready we all sat down and ate, and boy was it good! I always say its the best meal I eat the whole year.....not saying my mom is a bad cook or anything I just love good ole' country cookin'. So after we ate we cleaned off the tables,  stacked the chairs and tables, and washed the dishes. After we did all that we just sat around and talked the rest of the afternoon. Later that night my little cousin wanted me to come over and play with her, so I went over and we did all sorts of things, but the funny thing she beat me twice at Trouble! Friday we went home, but we stopped over at Mazeville KY fisrt to look around before we headed home. Right before we left we went to say goodbye to my aunt at the bank where she works, and finally we headed home. My dad let me drive and that was sure an experience, because I just flew over those curves and hills making my mom really nervous all the way....lol Later that night we stopped at this little pizza place and had pizza of course and talked to my other aunt and uncle for awhile and then that was when we finally did go all the way home. So that was my Thanksgiving, hope everyone had a good one!!!

Its been a really long time since i've updated!! Everything has been going ok, school is as hectic and chaotic as ever. I just wish that homework would let up and the teachers would stop being horrible and not knowing how to teach. I'm just so tired of school, in some ways I wish i could have gone back to last year, without all the drama and stress.

Yesterday was really great because I got to see "Marie Antoinette". It was really good, and the costumes and scenery was beautiful. I loved the music too because it was so modern, it wasnt your typical music for that period of history.

Today my mom and I went with my dad to do the building check at Vanburen Middle school and then we went over to the high school to their craft show that they have every year. Then we went to some other bazaars that are around, so now i'm just sitting here doing nothing waiting for the big game to start in 2 hours. Tonight I have to help serve at the school play, so that should be fun.....i just hate that i am going to miss some of the game. I know that OSU will win tho....Go Buckeyes!!!! So thats really all...so I will talk to everyone later!!!!

I'm so glad this week is over because it has been so stressful and tiring. Most of the week was spent writing my paper for hon. english and sitting up till 1:30 the night before finishing it, which we all know is never a fun thing to do. The day it was due I was so out of it, that i laughed at everything.....it was pretty funny. The thing that made me laugh the hardest was starbucks coffee makers catching on fire.....dont ask me why but I could not stop laughing about that....keith thought i went crazy!!! lol Thurday was our fall concert and it went really good, we got through all out pieces without hardly any mistakes what so ever. The only thing that did happen, was when we were playing The Chronicles of Narnia, Nathan's drum broke and fell on the ground!!! My mom said he turned beet red and was so embarrissed, but dont think anyone realized what happened and you couldnt hear it. Friday was prolly the best day of the whole week, because it was my dad's birthday. So after we all got home from school and work we went out to eat at one of the coolest and most romantic restaurants ever...it was called The Ciderbarn. It was so romantic because it was darkened and it was lit with candles and little lights on the walls, and the glasses sparkled, and the music was just so romantic because they played jazz and big band tunes. When we finished eating, none of us wanted to leave because it was just so beautiful and the food was so good. After we left we headed to the Greene to shop and look around and I got a new pair of shoes, that i was desperately needing for school. So that was my week, in short....I hope everyone has a good weekend!!!

Today has been pretty good so far, we just got back from church and that went really well. Yesterday I went to fearfest with Grace and Amber and that was so much fun!!! We got there around 3, so as soon as we stepped through the doors we went and rode our favorite rides and it was so much fun!! It was pretty cold and windy, so we practically held onto each other the whole night. Around 7 we got in line for one of the haunted houses, and while we were waiting I saw a friend from church and we all went together into the haunted house......it was so scary i loved it!!! After that, we walked around and we went through this forest and got chased with a chain saw which freaked us out so we started screaming and running for dear life...lol By this time we were really starving so we went to get something to eat, but for some reason I got really sick and I threw up in the bushes.....disgusting I know. After I did that i felt a lot better so we took the train to the sleepy hollow haunted house and that was so much fun!!! By this time it was getting late, and the lines were so long, that we decided to go. But, before we left I was still really sick and I had to run to the bathroom again to throw up, I felt so horrible. So that was my day at fearfest, it was so much fun....I just hated that i had to get sick. The best though i found out friday was that I passed my math OGT!!!! Which means I will be getting my diploma with the rest of my class!!!! I was so excited about it, and I almost started crying because I was so happy. When Amber saw me and I told her what happened and she was so happy, that we were both hugging and jumping up and down!!! So this weekend has gone pretty well so far, but now I have to finish my big paper for honors english....so I will talk to everyone later!!!
