i'm not entirely convinced i slept last night. i'm not entirely convinced i've slept all week. i think i've just been too excited in anticipation for things coming up in my life. god only knows why they've only just started keeping me up now.

i'm excited about going back to school and reuniting with my buddies and doing music video fridays again. (i'm going back early - aug. 27!)

i'm excited about our next movie, the screenplay of which i've been slaving over this week haha.

finally i am truly excited about seeing some old friends this semester -many of which i have not seen in as long as a year. some of which have talked of visiting and one of which will in fact be joining me at emerson. hooray for that.

now i really ought to try napping because this is just ridiculous...

well things are looking up.

i spent the last two weekends with my college friends...so yay for that. i saw megan in NH and it actually felt like summer for once. i went to a couple pool parties and played ping pong and badminton and went to the movies and all that jazz. then she and two others came to my house to film our summer movie....ridiculous, but amazing all at once.

aaaaaaaand i am no longer unemployed. yes, i found a job finally. TWO jobs actually. somehow i'm balancing my time between American Eagle and The Disney Store...both at the mall in Farmington.

so hopefully now the last 2 months of summer won't be so bad, although i still miss texas like no other. but hey, now that i'll be making some money maybe i'll have enough to visit soon-ish. i hope so!

happy summer to those who have it

i hate connecticut. i don't know what to do with myself here. at first it wasn't so bad. i missed my friends, but at least the alone time allowed me to read and write and all that stuff that i normally wouldn't have time to do if i was out with friends. but after a little more than a month, i'm just sick of it. i need to be with people. i'm going nuts here.
