"Our days are numbered. At this very moment, many are born into the world, some destined to live only a few days or weeks, & then succumb to illness or other misfortune. Others are destined to push through to the century mark, perhaps a bit beyond, & savor every taste life has to offer: triumph, despair, joy, hatred, & love. We never know. But whether we live a day or a century, a central question always remains: What is the purpose of our life? What makes our lives meaningful?" -Dalai Lama"Our days are numbered. I've checked out so many books from the Colleyville Public Library meaning I, Brittany Alexis Walker, have a brand new library card. Who knew that education was at the tips of our fingers?  I don't mean public education because I'm pretty sure that molar mass, parabulas, and diagramming sentences won't mean shit to me in about two years. However, I like what I'm writing about for my junior theme so I'm actually excited to do it.

So, thank you Austin for motivation & inpiration. I miss you more than words could ever ever express.

I'm not really stable in my religeon aspects but someone told me that "God takes the ones he can't love from a distance anymore". If I were to believe anything, I know that has to be true. The people that die at a younger age are special, they only needed that much time to make a difference. All of you that knew him remember his constant conversations about changing the world and I know he did and will continue to. He definitely changed mine. He gave me eyes to see the good in everyone, a heart to love despite how hard it is sometimes, and a mind to question things.

I can't stop thinking about him and his ora of beauty that everyone got a chance to see. Memories of him, the videos of us, our conversations, our jokes, the room we used to hang out in, text messages, pictures, and notes keep finding there way next to me. All I can do is be thankful for the time I got to spend with him while he was here and I can't wait to finish our conversation some day.

He always opened up his home and gave anyone that needed a place to hang out or a place to stay. His friends were his life. He defended them at any cost. He was unique, special, and beautiful to say the least.

I love and miss you dearly, Austin Stewart.

hair cut and color:

it's a lot shorter than i'm used to but i'm coping with it.

maybe it's just me but everything seems to be going pretty well for everyone. it's not that chaotic, uncomfortable, and of course AWWWKKKKWARDDD part of the year anymore. everything just seems to be falling into place and the weather is almost perfect.

this long weekend was pretty amazing. i think we should have them more often. you get to see more people, do more things, and enjoy yourself much more in four days rather than three.

love,
