| | Three Things I Can't Live WithoutKween_of_the_Queens wants to know three things I can't live without. Some people will toss off a few things that they would like to have at the moment. It's too easy to put down something like a new car, the new iPhone, or the latest high-fashion sneakers, or sunglasses. The reality is that we can all live without those things. They are just things that we would like to have. If I had children or grandchildren, I expect I'd have them on my mind, but I don't.
I think that "can't live with out" requires a bit more thought. I suppose we could go to the opposite extreme and suggest that we can't live without air or water or food, at least not for long. But those really are not within the spirit of the question. That said, I think I'll address the intangible things that I need to give my life meaning. Most of this I already have, but I need to make sure I don't lose any of them, and that I strive to build them up. I need to have:
- A feeling of self-worth
- My integrety in tact
- A feeling of security
Under pinning all of this is my relationship with God. I like the tangible things of life as well as the next person, but without these, none of the rest matters to me.
