Take a driving tour of the entire United States sounds like quite an adventure. We drove from Minnesota to Louisiana to move and that was quite a drive!

road trip!!!! i love road trips- esp if we can stay off the interstate for a while. you see things you'll never see anywhere else! :)

I'm always grousing about travel, and I have a ton of vacation time saved up. I've been seriously thinking of driving Route 66 in a couple of years. Maybe even get a small motor home to do it in. I know I could take the time off from work.

I must say, learning how to fly, even a sail plane, is an admirable goal. I hope you make all of them.

I would love to take a driving tour of the U.S. I've been able to travel a lot of different places in the U.S. but mostly by airplane, which I think really makes you miss out on a lot of the beautiful places the country has to offer. Great post :)

Good stuff! I'm always up for traveling, although I'm not sure about sail planing. I think that one would freak me out, possibly. But I can see where this would afford you a fantastic perspective of the earth. :)

I thought of laser surgery also but then quickly recalled what a chicken I am. I don't think that a person is ever too old to set a new goal but then again sanity was never one of my virtues. I did enjoy your entry.
