Oh the poor residents of NY.

I think she WOULD, I don't know if she SHOULD. If she ran for governor here I think she'd do extremely well. People here seem to like her, will probably vote for her, she has name recognition, etc. I'd probably vote for the other guy (well, in the primary) , but against a Republican candidate I know my town would vote for her. The rest of the state can be pretty Republican though, so I think it would depend on who the other guy is that's running. I notice that in this state people tend to vote for who they've heard of. The guy running against Spitzer was not very well known, and Spitzer won in a landslide. This pattern goes back a bit... same thing happened with Pataki.

I never, ever thought I would find myself on this side of politics. It is almost physically painful for me to think this, let alone type it. But I believe McCain is such a bad option for our nation, that even Hillary would be somewhat better. Obama would be better, IMHO, but the cold hard reality is that too much of this nation will cast their vote on race alone and an Obama ticket would likely ensure victory for McCain. So... I actually find myself hoping that Hillary gets the dem. nomination. Ugh. Did I just actually say that? *pukes*

Hillary has always had this arrogant presumption that she was owed or entitled to the Presidency and I have no clue where the hell she got that from. She wants the White House. The mayor of NY gets more attention and press then the Governor of NY operating out of Albany. As a friend jokingly told me the only way to deal with the Clintons properly would include vampire stakes, coffins and garlic...

Why do I care about the Democrats? Other than to "know thy enemy", I really don't give a rat's backside what they do.

I certainly don't waste my time wringing my hands over the possibility of them winning. I guess if you live in New York. . . I just know that as a Floridian, all this seems pointless.
