After 3 years for Greg, 2 years for me, and 1 year for Christian, our little family is now back from China.  We will be moving to Dayton, OH soon as Greg has been offered a youth pastor position there.  For now we are living in Hudsonville, MI and spending lots of time with Greg's family.

Recently all xangas have been blocked in China, so we can no longer update this site.  Please check out our new website www.thevrugginks.com to keep updated on our lives.  There is a section on our website entitled “Journal” which we will update just like we used to update this xanga site.  Thank you so much for your understanding and patience!

Saturday Greg & I took our friend Amy out to buy a new guitar.  It’s her birthday in a few days so it worked out perfectly.  We had a great time choosing a guitar together!

Greg & Amy testing out guitars.

Amy chose a great black guitar and proudly took it out of the store in her new carrying case.

Once we got home Greg showed Amy how to change her strings and adjust her guitar strap.  Hopefully he will be giving her lessons each week too, so she can learn how to use her new instrument.  Fun times!

HE'S A BOY!!!

We were so excited to find out we'll be having a precious little boy!  The technician was a little unsure of the baby's gender at first, but then said "Oh it's a boy!  Definitely a boy!"  Above is our "proof picture."
We'll let you figure out what everything is.

Matthew, our four-year-old nephew, has been asking for weeks if Uncle Greg and Aunt Rachel are having a "boy baby" or a "girl baby."  When his mom told him we were having a boy baby, he jumped up down, clapped his hands, and shouted, "Hooray - a boy baby!  A boy baby!"  That's pretty much how we feel too!!!
