| 4 Score And 7...OH ****!So I'm back from Chicago. Back from Indiana. Chicago was amazing in every way possible, from the sax players on street corners to the condos above Starbucks. Indiana basically sucked. It's like Missouri only shittier. I had a good cry last night, which I guess was brought on by a huge argument with Brandon, working constantly, missing friends, and worrying about future plans. Blah, basic girl stuff. I swear, if it weren't for the special treatment and boobs, I'd totally get a sex change. Estrogen blows some big ones, let me tell you. I'm feeling somewhat better today though- I should be happier about my Chicago trip, but I don't know what else to say about it except that OH YEAH the blue man group is one of the best things to happen since...well, in a long time. They will blow your mind, so go see them. While you're doing that, I'll be going to Beach Ball II in KC with Tyson on July 29 and 30... Hells. Yes. I can't wait for this... the bands are so so, it's 311, Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, Hawthorne Heights, Elefant, Soul Asylum, Rock Kills Kid, People In Planes...Uhh I forgot the rest but you get the idea. I'm kind of worried that I'll vomit all over myself when Hawthorne Heights and Yellowcard and 311 plays, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. Mall of America is coming up the first of August... Me and Vagina are going again on our annual road trip- so far I've saved $26.95 in spare change. Yipee ki-yay. Oh...and my new job totally makes me want to kind of die. I held a freakin' sign that said "Come in for free black cat fireworks and hot dogs" for 28 1/2 hours this weekend. I ached, I sweat, I froze. It was horrible. But this weekend- I'm helping out with fireworks in the store. I'm the friendly "May I help you" person, so cheers to that. Oh, and if you're a certain girl named Shawna that might want to see me when I'm up for Beach Ball, you need to let me know. And Left Eye, I miss you too, my dear. You still need to let me know when you're coming up to rock my socks (in a non-sexual innuendoish way)

| Chicago is tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll let you Extra Extra Read All About It. I really miss my brother for some reason... mostly because I care about him I guess. And we laugh together like good siblings. I'm just waiting to stay with him at his studio when we both have quality time to take out of our working lives. Oh, the solitude of jobbing it up. And then I can see that Shawna girl, and maybe help Tyson out with his whole music career thing, meet some interesting people and all that. I won't be back home until June 20...and I'm thinking that I'll really miss Britt and Car, as much as I probably need the break. I just won't know what to do with myself. I've decided that I like Xanga probably a ton better than Myspace. Myspace is boring to me. I have a cool idea for a book to work on this summer, but as usual I'll probably over-criticize it and quit. We'll see, I guess. In case anyone wants to know, Brandon and I are still together. We're doing good. I'm getting nervous about the future, however. Junior Senior has to grow up sometime, though and it's just coming up so fast. Some days, though, I can't wait. But I can. Oh, how I can wait. When you think about it, bills and careers aren't that cool.

So this is pretty much my new haircut!
And...I love it. It's amazing, and it feels like me, and it's not hot and it doesn't blow in my face, and I have BANGS! Yes, I am BANGIN'! And...Uhm...I need a new jorb to get more money. I leave for Chicago this Friday. I bought some Wal-Mart Daisy Dukes today. *Oh I look better in hats with this haircut* and everything is just...great. Nothing bad is going on, and I hope I don't jynx things by stating that. Ahh...summmer. | | |
| Are You Ready For Your Diss Appointment? (ohh burn)Okay so basically I just got done watching the Miss Murder video, and I must say that as an AFI fan of three years, I did get an email telling me to watch this video from the AFI fan center... But my comppy was being a total jerkface and wouldn't let me. Be that as it may, I decided to tune in to T minus rock on MTV2 today, which is odd for me since I never watch MTV, but anyways it was on there and I'm like Okay cool what's it going to hurt? And let me tell you, it hurt bad. I was completely and utterly disappointed. They sound a ton different than any of their other albums, and while slight change is usually good, this time it was horrible, and to me it seemed that the band members, at least in this song and video, are trying way too hard to get people to like them. C'mon, I like catchy tunes, but that beat was positively Green Dayish at times. I can only pray that when I purchase Decemberunderground, the remains of the CD will be better. If not, congrats to you, AFI, for most likely selling out and becoming a total original failure.
Onto more pressing issues...
I saw that old friend of mine Samantha last weekend, and it was fun despite getting reprimanded by my mother. I got to play with Ben's hair, and Ben in general. People graduated and stuff, I ate some snazzy food, and Nate and I had our usual argument. I fell in a hole getting into the Olds, and it stormed last nite! Zero turned 2 on May 10, and with this week's paycheck, I'm getting my hair cut. Prepare to be surprised, and if it looks like crap, it will grow back.
